Joe Swash having a go at Aaron Sidwell on Twitter
This is a fairly amusing soap/ex soap actor spat. Aaron Sidwell made a negative comment on Twitter earlier about Stacey Solomon not learning her lines for the panto she's doing and using a clipboard to read off of:
https://twitter.com/aaronsidwell/sta...30581745483776 A lot of people agreed with him, some didn't, including one person who hilariously told him to try doing something live (Aaron actually has extensive live performance experience )Now Joe Swash, Stacey's partner, is coming for him, with barely literate tweets: https://twitter.com/realjoeswash/sta...38519709007872 https://twitter.com/realjoeswash/sta...67691550490624 He also retweeted someone saying Aaron's acting is wooden... I assume they didn't get on when they were briefly in EE together? ![]()

I love how Aaron was the bigger man and apologised when really he shouldn't.
1 - he's right about the Stacey situation and 2 - he's allowed to voice an opinion on SOCIAL media Joe has made himself look like an arse and has embarrassed Stacey. |

Joe has taken it to far. Aaron has genuinely apologised. Joe's tweets come across as bullying

lol Joe what an idiot. Though from his barely literate tweets i could just about make out that he said 'acting' isnt Aarons 'game'. Really? and just how far has Joe gone with his acting career.

LOL at the person asking Aaron to try doing something live... He was one of the leads in a huge West End musical.

Joe Swash criticising anybody's acting is just hilarious. Swash is one of the worst actors ever to appear on British TV and is still hanging onto EE's coat-tails.

I'm sorry but I'm with Aaron Sidwell on this, what Stacey Solomon did is unprofessional and needs to be called out on it. As a regular Theatre goer myself the last thing I want to see is a performer reading a fat bulky script on stage because for some odd reason they didn't rehearse for it? Who does that (well, Stacey obviously)?
Forgetting your lines is one thing and forgivable, it happens, but not knowing your lines however? No just no!Also Joe Swash has always come across as an unpleasant person to me to be honest. I'll never forget how he had some unhealthy, obsessed dislike towards Justin Ryan to the point it became uncomfortable.

Joe Swash is just ranting and raving and starting to look foolish - well I say "starting". It wouldn't be so bad if he could string a coherent tweet together.

Bitter Sam Womack has thrown some shade too.
I would be angry if I went to see a panto and she was reading the script. |

You'd think Stacey would of had plenty time in Australia to be learning her lines.

As somebody who goes to a lot of live shows, if she was reading a script like that, I would have walked out and demanded my hard earned cash back. If she can't be arsed learning the lines, she ain't getting my money. Simples.

I can't stand Joe Swash, the man can barely string a sentence together! Well done to Aaron Sidwell for being the bigger person. Joe Swash is the worst thing on tv and the reason I never watch the after show of I'm a Celeb. The best thing would be if he was exterminated from our TVs for good!

![]() The producers are clearing thinking money first and performance second. Why would they hire someone who will be in Aus when they should be rehearsing with everyone else and learning their lines |

Did she not consider her commitment to the panto before buggering off to Australia (or vice versa)?

Its two simpletons having a twatter arguement ( complete with poor English ) trying not to lose face because they are in the wrong, with a third party.
Thats it. |

I'm more annoyed that he mis-spelled 'cheque'.

Exactly. And to be honest I agree with Aaron. If an actor hasn't learned their lines then they shouldn't be performing. I can forgive an actor forgetting their lines, but not knowing them at all? I'd be quite annoyed to be in the audience watching that.
Joe seems thoroughly unpleasant. Joe wants to shut his fat gob, just because he's Stacey's current boyfriend doesn't mean that Aaron isn't right and as an actor (so called) HE of all people should know this. Quote:

I really don't see the appeal of either Joe Swash OR Stacey Soloman. Numpties. Good on you Aaron, when he came back at you you should have completely ignored him. Would have driven him bonkers. |

Neither are brilliant actors, but Sidwell is a million miles better than Swash.
Joe Swash can only play Joe Swash. At least with Sidwell you know he's acting when he's playing a dark character in Steven. Also, Sam Womack's dig was unnecessary. If she's like that on the set no wonder SOC got rid. |

Why would they hire someone who will be in Aus when they should be rehearsing with everyone else and learning their lines I do think it wss really unprofessional of her to accept whichever offer came second when already committed to another project. She shouldn't have said yes to IAC if she knew she was doing panto so soon afterwards and she shouldn't have said yes to panto if already contracted for IAC. It's not fair on the Audience, it's not fair pn the other actors thst are having to play opposite her with no rehearsals and a sub standard performance (how can it be anything but when reading off script) on the actual nights. Missing rehearsals is bad enough but she could still have learnt the script. I did a lot of plays at School and Uni and I'd learnt the majority of my scripts before rehearsals even started. I know she was working in Australia but not 24/7, bet she found time for some socialising. |
