Sigh... Are you one of those who thinks that there's no manipulation etc going on in this show?

I saw one comment in the live final thread last night saying they weren't voting for saara because they voted leave. I can't provide a link because I can't remember what page it was but hand on heart, it was said. I wouldn't make that up.
While I don't believe that this is the reason that saara came second, unfortunately, we live in 21st britian, where a ignorant demographic will let something like this sway thier vote. All in all, I do think it was the tweenie vote that swung it for Matt. |

Sigh...no. You suggest that they deliberately hid her girlfriend to reduce the vote from the LGBT viewer. It is quite condescending, and a wee bit insulting, to suggest that they would vote for her simply because she is gay. It is like the Scottish vote theory - a lazy assumption.

It's disappointing that even in the weeks Saara won the vote where she completely outshone the other acts (TWTIA and Chandelier), she still only barely topped it. She was never really getting the support needed to win and the producers would have known in the lead up to the final that the transfer vote from either Matt or 5am finishing third would kill her chances
