Have you notice the dances recap tonight?
The editing was really funny... and I just said to my self 'here we go'...
Both Claudia and Danny's recap was the negative comments... While with Ore and Louise's recap was all praises and how wonderful they were... |

Yes I noticed and in LensLens. I thought here we go . The Clifton vs Clifton thing has already started in the daily mail as well.

So what I hope in the build up this week and on Saturday is a more evenhanded approach to the contestants and acknowledgment of all their stories. Ore does have a big advantage too as we saw from week one that he is completely unafraid of mugging up to the audience and cameras. Selling the dance. He's totally comfortable being himself in front of a massive audience. He has natural ability too and is fit strong and flexible and with a brilliant professional and a weeks focus will be able to pull of fabulous dances. Good for him. By all means mention he has no experience dancing but please be fair to the others too. |

I'm betting in the final they will gush over Danny, say how brilliant he is and not one negative thing about him.
They know he is the best all around dancer/performer but don't want to make too much of it because they want it to be exciting and to add uncertainty. |

I think that's why they went overboard with Ore this week. I wouldn't want them gushing over Danny more than the others and I don't believe they will...in the final they tend to be gushy over everyone, even Craig...the damage was done in the semi-final though and gushing just over Danny won't help that, probably make it worse since they really pushed the 'never ever danced a step in me life before' angle. A mention of perhaps where Danny has improved...Darcy questioned stillness which he showed on Saturday....I think his arm movements and hands have improved enormously, the fact that he is reserved and gets incredibly anxious performing as 'Danny' has been a hurdle for him that he overcomes each week and he's conquering that...we've had comments of how Louise has blossomed despite her having dance experience too.
They are all improving from where they started...fairness is all I want. |
