Claudia and Louise dance off?
Had this been the result who would've been saved?
Claudia IMO was far better last night but the judges view Louise as a top contender so who do you think they would've saved? |

It would have depended on how Louise danced her tango compared to how Claudia danced her quickstep in the dance off.

Judges would have saved Louise.
There's no way Claudia was going to be allowed to stay and one of the other three leave. |

If that was so clear, why did they score Claudia higher than Louise on her second dance? Surely if they wanted Claudia out it would have made sense to score her lower so that she ended up bottom of the leaderboard outright.

Haha that is not the question... why they scored the very average Samba higher than Claudia's Rumba?
In answer to the OP they would have saved Claudia. |

I have no doubt in my mind that Claudia's Quickstep would have been better than Louise's Tango in the D.O. Of course something could drastically change but it's unlikely. Anyway, sadly Claudia was always going to go no matter who she was in the DO against or if she danced her dance better than the other celeb.

Louise because Kfg is for some reason hailed on that programme as a king . Never yet had a duff dancer. Why?

In a fair world without the manipulation of the judges Louise wouldn't have stood a chance against Claudia. Especially after that amazing Quickstep her and AJ delivered. Louise doesn't have half the technique that Claudia does.

Claudia's QS was better than Louise's Tango but they would have stuck with Louise.

Not sure even the judges could have justified picking Louise over Claudia, even if they had a personal preference towards Louise. Claidia would have been the clear winner when her QS was directly compared with Louise's tango. The judges would have embarrassed themselves picking Louise, they wouldn't risk their reputation (more than they already did with their scoring on Sat)

The original speculation was posted after the programme finished. I just wonder why anyone should worry about something that didn't happen, nor is going to now. It's like the proverbial 'If Napoleon had won Waterloo' or 'If Hitler had won the war'. A bit pointless, (but then, that's another programme altogether).

I daresay the dance teachers on this forum will say Louise is the better dancer.
And they may well be right- but not once did I ever have a feeling of excitement, or happiness, or charisma when Louise was dancing. Many have used the word lacklustre to describe Louise. Like she was already good, and never got out of 3rd gear. |

Fortunately for the Judges the public saved them from having that problem. Louise got more votes than Claudia and Danny, and almost certainly more than Ore from the public. No idea why after Saturdays show - other than she is a lovely and likeable person.
I suspect the Judges are mighty relieved at the outcome of the voting as there was no way they could have put Louise through over Claudias QS without it being a clear fix. They got their fingers badly burned with that a couple of years ago and I doubt they would want to have len come on and "explain" again why the weaker dance was saved. So Had they been forced to chose I think they would have saved Claudia (except Darcy of course) |

I dont think they would have picked Claudia.....why pick someone who isnt doing the tour but could end up winning.....a tour without the series winner would be very odd!

After her quickstep, Craig said that Claudia had danced as if her life depended on it.
I think from the first dance Claudia realised the writing was on the wall, and that the only way she could get to the final was by avoiding the dance off as other wise she was doomed. You could see by her face that she realised how it was going to be when the marks came through for her rhumba. I suspect the judges know how the public votes have been going. If so, and if Saturday is a guide, then it is quite likely that Louise has been topping the public vote. If so then Louise getting equal 3rd with Claudia would almost certainly save her. Marking Ore higher than Claudia would give justifcation for saving him if he was n a DO with Claudia, and as was the case they would have no problem saving Danny against anyone, as he has been the stand out dancer right through the series. Not that I'm one for conspiracy theories mind you
