Sorry, no. Natalie Gumede, Jill Halfpenny, Kara Tointon and a plethora of others are far superior dancers.

I was laughing at his fix claims also and that he will never watch Strictly again. I imagine the producers will be delighted. Whether there is truth in it or not his bluster is hilarious

No, I still think Kara Tointon is the best dancer Strictly's ever had - Natalie was also technically wonderful but Kara had the edge performance-wise for me.

He also states Danny won't win and unfortunately I agree with him. Lens yearly 'advice' about Ore being the only amateur, Joanne's crocodile tears tonight and something extra from the judges next week will sway the gullible public. Ore and Joanne are desperate to win and that is unappealing and unattractive.

Best male celeb, totally agree and I think it's harder for male celebs because they have to lead, do lifts etc. Most consistent, good at everything, even when he messes up it's still a good dance.
Best female celeb is harder to choose, Kara, Natalie, Alesha all up there. Not seen much of Jill but I love what I have seen. Really loved Abbey and Kimberley too but they're probably not up there technically. Hate to say it but Denise was really good too.
I think he probably is. I simply couldn't believe he was in the dance-off this week. However, the three finalists are exactly as I predicted from the outset (though in a way I wouldn't have minded if Ed Balls had made it instead of Louise).

Jill is probably the best Latin dancer there's been on the show, and Natalie the best all rounder. Have to mention Ali, Caroline and Pixie too, and Kelly Brook.

I agree with all of this!
Danny is definitely up there amongst the best ever but not quite THE top #1 best dancer. For the males, I would say he definitely is. But I think Natalie is the best overall dancer, with Kara probably 2nd.

In terms of technique, I think Colin Jackson and possible Ricky Whittle were both superior to Danny - some of his footwork and posture in the ballroom really isn't all that, even if the judges aren't pointing it out any more!

In terms of artistry, I think Danny Mac is probably superior. Ricky Whittle is the one person I had in mind as a possible rival for best natural dancer, though.
Natalie was technically I reckon, though I was never engaged with her dancing & excited to watch her. She just didn't have the zing or rawness of some of the other best dancers on Strictly like Kara.
Danny is easily the best male and is certainly up there performance wise with the best of the best for me - few others are able to deliver a party Latin full of sizzle and fun then wheel out a romantic AS. Would say Alesha also had this quality.
Also think Oti has brought out some of the bravest and most exciting routines (definitely this season anyway) and he's accomplishing them brilliantly.

I agree. I think Danny could be the best male all round stage performer, but I wouldn't say he was the best male ballroom/Latin dancer. I don't know if it's Oti's fast choreography, but he sometimes gets a strange posture where something looks a bit 'off' and he never seems to have lost the on his toes, stagey quality to his footwork. Weirdly, I preferred his earlier dances to his later ones, apart from the samba.
I would place Kara and Jill above Danny, plus Rachel Stevens on technique although she didn't have the same performance level.
I read an interview with Brendan the other day where he was asked if he thought the standard this year was higher than ever and I agree with his response.

Yeah I mean, my god there's no way Jo was ACTUALLY EMOTIONAL after getting to the final. That couldn't be real. That sort of emotion doesn't exist.
