Changes you want to see in X Factor (Series 14)?
1. Ditch the lifeline vote - it was pointless.
2. More current theme weeks and diversity in song choice. 3. No "gimmicks" or twists like wildcards or contestants brought back. 4. Ditch the sing-off: lowest vote getter is sent home and judges have one save in all series. 5. Stop casting fodder in the top 12! It's not hard to find 3 really good or interesting acts for each category. #justsaying 6. Ditch the audience in the stupid 6 chair challenge: they're so annoying and rude. 7. Give Louis something other than Groups or Overs. |

Ditch the six chair altogether.
After they are whittled down to the final 32, each judge picks two acts from each category out of a hat. Each judges house will have two boys, two girls, two groups and two overs and they pick the best four regardless of categories. 16 in the live shows with double vote-offs in weeks three and four. No lifeline vote. To replace the theme jukebox, have the remaining contestants draw numbers to determine the next weeks running order (gets rid of the "producers want him out because they put him on first" nonsense) Either cut the final Sunday to one hour or have three on the final day. A two hour show for just four songs is ridiculous and results in far too much filler. |

1. More interesting song choices and themes.
2. A Rock or Indie act that actually is allowed to do their style and win. 3. Tone down the backing tracks as it is being used to aid some contestants whilst hindering others. 4. Stop scripting the show like a Soap Opera and instead have the VT's and the overall feeling of the show being more comedic and chilled out, and also have more focus on the rehearsals. 5. Scrap the reprising of your "best" performance in the final and instead have the public decide on the App what performance they'd like the acts to sing instead. 6. Hire vocal coaches that actually bring the best out in the acts, not their worst traits. 7. The judges comments need to be more fluid rather than just praising or dissing an act because the production have told them beforehand that these acts are to fill certain roles this week. 8. I'd like less emphesis on dancing over singing. 9. I'd like more focus on Instrument playing rather than it being labelled as "dull" by Simon Cowell. 10. Having a subtle singer on the show that doesn't get labelled "dull." |

No lifeline vote.
No six chair challenge. No novelty acts. AND PLEASE STOP MAKING DERMOT DANCE AND GIVING HIM STUPID INTRODUCTIONS! It's so cringeworthy. He's just the presenter, it's bad enough that it takes about 10 minutes for the Judges to walk to their seats never mind giving Dermot his own performance as well. |

Six chair challenge will never be ditched as it's the highest rated part of the series
Ditch osbourne, Walsh and scherzinger Osbourne and Walsh will never be given the girls so the mentoring is too restrictive |

Just for starters I would have a completely new panel of judges who actually know something about music.

Just not an act like Honey G again. It's okay to have a joke act if they're funny and just a little bit off, but Honey G's level of delusion in herself was worrying viewing time to time.

Live shows with a line up a decent singers.
A complete end to 'fake reality'. For the most part there was less of that this year, indeed for the first few weeks it felt like the show had turned a corner. Then those idiots and 'chickengate' happened, which pretty much sealed this seasons fate. |

I think they'll try and keep most of it the same.
With BGT, continuity has led to an improvement and they'll be hoping for that here too. |

Get rid of the lifeline vote, it had too big an impact when you see the voting stats.
No Honey G/Bratavio style acts. New weekly themes, Louis Loves was probably actually my favourite this year as it was different and they had songs that suited them better. |

Make the show engaging. The dwindling numbers is permeating to the actual shows and it's getting boring.

Changes we want to see of course, but will never be taken on board in all honesty.

If it was down to me i'd get rid the joke acts, have mentors instead of judges( they shouldn't be deciding who stays based on selling tabloids ),let the public decide the final 12 from 100 and let the final 12 sing what they want.

Include joke acts but get rid of them at Boot Camp at the very latest.
Make it about the acts rather than the judges. And make it about the acts as performers rather than sob stories. Have Halloween and Christmas weeks but don't pretend they are randomly selected! I would like to see all of the themes listed up front and then for the act that survives the sing off to choose what they want the following week - giving them a fighting chance to be the best they can be with a theme to suit them. Get rid of the Six Chair Challenge - at this stage I'm sure they know who they are putting through so making people perform for the baying mob that is the audience is just cruel. Agree with the comment that said have mentors rather than judges. We are the judges. I was really enjoying it this year until we got to judges' houses and all the talent was sent home. |

Rather than making the show 10 minutes shorter each week, let the acts sing full length songs rather than two minute snippets after the first two weeks.

Get rid of the life line vote. Ban the teenie girls from voting. Let the acts sing what they want. No sob stories. Let them sing more up to date songs. |

I would get rid of themes altogether but if we must keep them then get rid of the jukebox. have 3 themes for the public to vote for each week.

Get rid of the audience at 6CC and just have it in a small studio.
Give the public more input into song choices and themes, for example when they get to doing 2 songs a week have 1 song be a viewers choice. Keep lifeline vote but extend to phone votes as well as the app Give judges categories they have not had before, e.g Sharon the groups, Nicole the overs Let contestants play instruments if they want, was a shame Emily hardly played guitar in the lives. Make sure contestants sing different songs every week and not slowed down versions Have the judges give more constructive criticism and tell acts what to improve every week rather than just saying that was amazing, fantastic, your a star etc |

I agree with getting rid of 6CC - it's a gimmick, and a largely pointless one, as the judges will already know at that point which 6 acts they want to put through to JH.
I'd like to see each judge choosing, say, 8 acts to be put through to a live elimination show, meaning there would be a live show for each category with all 8 acts performing, then the public voting, with the top two going through via the public vote, and the judge of that category choosing the third (ideally, I'd prefer all three acts being chosen by the public, but for TPTB to go with something like this, there would have to be at least one act chosen by the judge). |

How about a joke act/novelty act that is actually talented? Sada Vidoo fit perfectly into that!

1. Ban the Teeny girls from voting
2. Get rid of the six chair challenge 3. Stop the joke acts from going on the show 4. More modern song choices, fed up of hearing young contestants sing old songs 5. Ditch the themed nights 6. Let the contestants sing what they want to sing from any type of music 7. Reduce the ad breaks as well as the amount of time we are at the adverts 8. Bin the sympathy moments, for example, the camera points to someones gran, grandad, dad, or mother 9. Reduce the show, for example instead of a final over two days, why not just get it all done and dusted on the Saturday night?. Sunday nights are rubbish, 10. Ditch the free app vote |

I think the free app vote should remain but restricted to 1 vote
