The rumour is when they left Polydor they lost the rights to the songs so they can't release them anyway. I'd like to hear the full mastered versions of them but I don't think we will ever hear that completed album and if anything else ever comes, it will be completely new stuff
What value are the songs to Polydor at the moment?

Of course, they might have value if MKS were to put out some new stuff and were successful but that's a long shot.

They can sell them on. I believe one of the demo backing tracks has ended up on James Arthur's album

Its a shame they leaked but I have a feeling we will never get any new material from them anyway. It seems like the interest just isn't there for a label to invest in them.

Mean but fascinating. I'm surprised it wasn't Little Mix, who could do some of those songs their own way.

Little Mix are much more bubblegum pop though. I can't imagine them doing a track like No Regrets or Today.

No imagination then?

Who calls anything bubblegum these days? It's such a 60s/70s term. LM have been retro but mainly 80s.

I can imagine Little Mix doing a song like No Regrets. I think they would do the song very well.

I'd rather not imagine what kind of horror Little Mix would sound like trying to do No Regrets. They are perfectly fine at the brand of bubblegum pop they do but MKS/Sugababes are all about those glorious harmonies and a more mature, adult sound.
