My husband gets nothing as he works for the prison. He is also working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - which are classed as normal days so no extra money involved.

I don't receive a bonus at Christmas, but I do get other things. There are only three of us here (two bosses and me) and I book a nice restaurant for lunch during a working day. The lunch also includes partners. We don't pay a penny and we thoroughly sloshed on the day. Our lunch is next Friday.

The bosses also buy me a present. One boss is the booze man and he generally gives me a crate of 6 wines, 2 bottles of spirits and a bottle of champagne. The other boss often buys a present. Last year it was a Pandora charm for my bracelet.

So I do feel quite spoilt.

Oh, we know. They do many many things aren't legal. Its a disaster of a place and he hates it BUT they pay very well so that's how they hang on to people.

A few years back an employee had a breakdown and hanged himself. His family were adamant the company was culpable and some management and HR were called to give evidence at his inquest and we thought this would be the start of it all coming out but no, it just petered out and they carry on doing as they please. The 'bonus scheme' isn't the half of it.

It's a job and it pays the mortgage. And he is treated better than most in there and tbh they aren't a company I'd want to take on. He's always looking for another job but as I said they pay too well.

Are you separate from the Education Authority because I know EANI have paid their 1% award because we were complaining about our organisation dragging their heels over paying ours.

No Christmas bonus for us in the public sector but to be fair I didn't get one in my private sector job in Teleperformance either.

Yes, and again after the 1st of the new year because I am so nice.

We get our performance related bonus and pay review in March, although the performance review takes place in November. This year I got a great review and bonus being told my role is at risk of redundancy so I'm currently going through consultation.
After nearly 11 years I'm heartbroken, but at least my contract states enhanced redundancy payout as statutory is rubbish!

Work Christmas lunch today with an open bar from noon. Nobody is expecting to get back to the office this afternoon as it usually develops into an all day pub crawl.

No bonus at this time of year as that's paid in March at the end of the financial year. Get paid early next week which helps with the holiday spending but means that it will be 6 weeks until the January payroll.

Not a bonus as such as I'm a contractor, but we get next Friday off and I've been told to book it as a full 10 hour day which suits me fine.

I retired last August after being with the company for nine years.During that time I did not get one pay rise or any sort of bonus so by the time I left I was actually getting less money than when I started,And there have been no pay rises there since left.
