I'd like to see this introduced. It used to be on TV variety shows fairly regularly, and would certainly give the dancers a chance to bring character, passion, and interpretation skills, as well as introducing something new to the show. What do you think?

Wouldn't it be a bit boring watching 15 couples all dancing to the same Shadows track?

I see two major issues with this.

1) It leaves the show open to accusations of cultural appropriation

2) Other native American peoples may feel excluded or marginalised if their own tribal dances do not feature in the show.

I agree -

I think Morris Dancing should be introduced, and possibly all that malarkey they did in Pride & Prejudice - all this modern stuff is just naff!

don't get this wrong, it is style of dance popular in Paris in the 1920s,
it involves throwing the girl around in what is basically a fight,
very dangerous form of dance

unlike the native American name the e is silent

You mean like that dance Morecombe & Wise did one Christmas with Little Ern dressed as a French Tart?

It's called something like 'Murder on Sunset Avenue.'

Brendan's inspiration for Bacofoil.

I thought you were serious for a minute. Nice one.

I thought the Apache dance was mostly an ensemble piece.
