I think it shows strength of character. I'll happily have these sorts of people as leaders of the free world.

I don't use Tea Bags, only ever use Loose Tea Leaf. Oh and probably drink 3or 4 cups of Coffee a year, no more.

People are very funny about their tea - sister-in-law; two teabags in the cup and leave them there mother; one tea bag dipped in for 0.25secs (tea the colour of wee, preferably); me - a wave of milk. Any more and I'll throw it down the sink. Doesn't matter who I offend.

Thank Christ I never touch the stuff, and can count on the fingers of one hand the people I know that do.
My old dad used to say, (jokingly, I'm sure), never trust anyone who drinks that merde.

Tea bag in mug.....Who are they hurting? No one.

If you really want to get my dander up then let's talk about coffee drinkers who leave coffee in the sugar..... arrghhhhhh!!!!!

Sheer laziness. I always waggle mine about first to get it to the required strength. Then take it out and bin it, having squeezed it first.

I do this at work

Basically I like my tea strong, but i'm not going to wait 5 mins in the kitchen for it to infuse properly so it's easier to just leave the tea bag in and take it to my desk. I know that the milk lowers the temperature and stops it infusing properly but it's better than nothing.

There was a fella on Radio 1 once who confessed he takes the tea bag out after making the brew and sucks on it.. Have to say, I was eager to try it when I heard it, but haven't thus far. Probably will eventually.

I must admit I've been known to do it with those fruity tea bags that smell lovely but have very little taste, longer they are brewed the better just to get some taste out of them.

Mine gets a thorough squeezing against the mug with a tea spoon. Like someone mentioned, not enough time on breaks to fart about letting it brew. It's a slower process at home.

I leave my teabag in if I have an earls grey as the taste is a lot more prominent ans saves time just standing there waiting for it to sink into the hot water for the proper flavour. When I have my normal Tetley's I strain the tea bag as much as poss and take it out so my cuppa is strong.

Tassimo all the way, @home anyway... leaving the bag in is as bad as people who watch SD channels when HD option is available...

My old boss had her tea like that and always left the last inch. I'm not remotely squeamish normally, but it turned my stomach - looked like a dead mouse in there. Same goes for people who put the teabag in the sink - do they not realise that it has to be pulled out of the sink at some point? Why not just put it straight in the bin?

You want to make the next round of brews for 15 people?
