X factor changes
So the end of another series of the X Factor, in my opinion it has been a poor year. Not as bad as last season but still not the best.
However my question is what changes would you like to see on the X Factor?. How can the X factor be made better, and how can it be made into a show that many people will watch?. |

Get rid of joke acts.
Less padding in between acts Condense down to one night a week The final should have been and dusted on saturday 4 hours was way too much and ITV / Syco are in danger of killing it. |

As mentioned in the previous post I would also cut it down to one night a week like they did with the first five series with the results show on the same night. They only need look at 'SCD' to see how a results show should be done.
Cut down on the amount of audition episodes (I think 4 shows spread out over 2 weekends would work) and stop showing the reactions from people who are not in the audition rooms. Viewers want to see the auditions rather than hearing other auditionees saying 'Oh he/she's cute etc. (a similar problem exists on 'BGT') I know that the live shows were shortened down last year due to the Rugby World Cup but I think they should shorten them down anyway even if it means more double eliminations. In other countries they appear to have less shows which seems to work well. Get rid of the 6 Chair Challenge as the show worked better without it plus it's just a cruel method of whittling down contestants. IMO bring out the remaining bootcamp acts and pick 6 to go through to judges houses. Don't send novelty acts to judges' houses or the live shows. I haven't really seen the other countries' versions but they don't appear to send these type of acts to the live shows. |

I would like them to just once not send home good singers at judges houses just for shock value. They might be surprised at the result (maybe viewers won't go up but the general reaction towards the show would drastically improve).
They need to realise that after 13 years, 'funny' acts like brattavio just aren't funny anymore. |

Axe the 6CC
Bring in mixed categories Don't send jokeacts throug to JH Top16 Liveshows (each mentor with one act each category) Let the judges send home one of their own acts in show 1 (like season 2011) Cut the number of liveshows down to 8 No resultshow every week Hopefully send home Sharon and Nicole. |

Maybe we should use reverse phycology instead.
1. Twelve crap singers in the live shows. 2, Make it obvious who is through to the live shows by padding out their first audition to a 30 minute special. 3. More ad breaks because you can never have enough John Lewis "one day i'll fly away..." 4. No more big name artists in the final. In 2017, I want to see the finalists duet with Reggie N' Bollie and Wagner. 5. I Have Nothing Week - where all the finalists sing the Whitney Houston classic. ALL TEN OF THEM!!! ![]() 6. More backing vocals on the backing tracks. In fact, each contestant pre-records their vocals and mimes over them on the live show. 7. The four categories are Boys, Boys Who Look Like Girls, Boybands and Boys Over 30+ etc...
