Sits on the loading page for a while here - and then loads and shows them still active.
Is the Freeview stream still going? (Can't check as my tv won't display it and just sits on the 'loading stream' page).

I may be corrected on this but I think I read an article on a516.digital a couple of weeks ago stating that Tru tv might be leaving the UK tv market due to very low ratings.
Maybe Turner should launch TNT in the UK - there must be plenty of series they can get the rights to

The EPG data for 700 says 'Sky Intro' and for 743/752 says 'press Box Office for listings' whereas all the others say 'programmes no longer available'. This may mean that 700, 743 and 752 may be retained as placeholders for a while whereas the others may be removed sooner.

QVC Christmas has reverted to QVC EXTRA on 673.

Edit: 743 and 752 now showing blue screen

It's been launched by TRT to showcase Turkey to the world, similar to other international news channels. I believe there could be an HD version making its way to 28E too.

At last, what appears to be replacing Arise, at least it's Transponder capacity, will be a lot more reliable in content and just being on-air than Arise was! Think this finally means the end of Arise News!

It's usually due to bandwidth considerations.
As the available bandwidth on a satellite transponder is usually shared out between the channels on that transponder, it would be very silly to have one transponder full of sports channels, for instance. The quality would then be very poor on all of them as sports channels are very bandwidth hungry due to the nature of their programming. At the other end of the scale, news channels use relatively little as they are often static talking heads, not loads of people running around on a sports pitch with constantly moving camera shots!
The transmission system automatically shares out the available bandwidth depending on the channels' demand at any particular time, and if several channels are transmitting demanding content at the same time, the other channels on the transponder will be starved and their quality drop.
They therefore always try to balance bandwidth hungry channels with less demanding channels, so as new channels open and others close, they need to shuffle them around to maintain that.
An over-simplification I realise, as who owns the transponders has to be taken into account as well of course, and there are other factors, but that's my understanding as to the main reason that constant reshuffling takes place.
Also as contracts come to an end or leases expire, the option to continue using the capacity may no longer be available.

In other cases, it's because broadcasters have found a better deal than continuing with their current arrangements.

I may be corrected on this but I think I read an article on a516.digital a couple of weeks ago stating that Tru tv might be leaving the UK tv market due to very low ratings.
Last I heard, they were trying to sell TruTV. Not sure if this included TruTV +1, if not maybe this is a cost saving measure??

Virgin Media are rumoured to be have shown an interest, but the official line is that negotiations are taking place with an unknown third party.

I wonder if these placeholders will be used for ITV Box Office??

I have a sneaky suspicion Globecast have cleared the remaining SD channels from this TP to allow a switch to S2 and possibly add TRT World HD as Arise/TRT was on an existing Globecast leased TP so must have the C & C contract.

If I set my Sky + app to Northern Ireland region these three channels are showing up as before on 240 to 242 (in the same order). If I set it to England they have moved as reported above

DM Plus TV (Sky 799) appears to be off the air showing a grey screen with two black bars across it.

EDIT: Seems to be back now.
