Trying to make a list of things i want for relatives who live abroad tom pick from. Its very tricky as i'm of an age now where i just buy most things i want, or don't buy them as they are too expensive, which means they are also too expensive to be a gift.

So give me some ideas. What do you want for xmas?
I don't want a lot for Christmas. There is just one thing I need.

I played cards against humanity for the first time a couple of months ago and I found it hilarious. So I want the game and expansion packs.
I played that for the first time a few months ago as well, it's really funny

I have said about a gift card for Christmas, as I'm not really too sure what I want. My family have asked for gift cards too.

The clocks to turn back by one year exactly. 2016 has been godawful.

I half fancy a kindle until it occurred to me how much I'd have to pay for books
Not necessarily just search for free books, there's loads and many at 99p. New authors often try out ideas, I've found a few gems.

To be left alone, my Mother died last Monday, and everyone wants to invite me for a Christmas meal. I really want a couple of duvet days, where l can pop into the garden (her house) feed the creatures, and watch crap on the TV, without the constant (well meaning) phone calls and visits and all the legalise stuff. Almost tempted to escape to my place in London, but fear it's tempting fate that l won't get back for the funeral on 29/12.
So sorry- I hope you get what you want. It's an awful time and being left alone is all I wanted when my mum died so I understand how you feel.

I have only paid for a book once ... as I couldn't wait. I log onto Amazon and they have a section of free to download books. I pick allsorts and I have really widened by horizons when it comes to authors as i have come across some fab free books.

I have asked for a silver bracelet from my parents, which they are having made for me at a bespoke jewellers. I have no idea what it will look like. Apart from that - I don't think I have asked for anything.

i want a home with a garden in a community i can be part of.

i`m 3rd in the queue for a bedsit with a garden in the town i want to move to this homelink cycle and i`ve been bidding for a couple of years with no luck so fingers crossed no one else likes it.

breath not held.

edit: no, i`m 7th now, what a downer.
I can empathise - really. I've not had a garden since 1994, I bid for council properties, if they're for the over 40s I generally end up in the top 10, non-age-restricted & I tend to be at about 50.
