I suppose what you are saying is that Labour still has morals. The Lib Dems lost them in 2010
Unfair. You couldn't really have expected them to turn down the chance to be in government and have some influence on policy.

Quite a lot seeing as its the CDU/CSU and SPD that govern Germany and to anyone else that is a right wing party and socialists - something you denied happened
I didn't deny anything about our system did I? In our system coalitions are rare and coalitions between socialists and right wing parties are non-existent.

What they do in Europe has no relevance here.

NO NO a thousand times NO, I would certainly never vote Labour again if they did.
Would you go back to voting Conservative again?

Why on earth would UKIP want to be lumbered with a toxic Labour Party when disagruntled ex-Labour voters are already flocking to them in droves?
Yeah... UKIP are already attracting the racists who had previously voted Labour and now have an outlet with UKIP.

Would you go back to your passionate support for the Gulf War?

I think you have me confused with a loyal supporter of your Labour party who lied to the country and which you never stopped supporting

I bet you voted for Thatcher

Don't be childishly ridiculous.

Our voting system is unique to us. And yes it does stop at the coast.

And no UKIP and Labour have nothing in common.

Oh dear seems I hit a nerve.

As to UKIP and Labour having nothing in common well I beg to differ. What they have in common are all those former Labour voters who voted to leave the EU and who said they would vote UKIP in future. Scoff all you want it won't make any difference but if Labour take the same blinkered view they will be alienating themselves from many of their former voters at the next election

I've already all but abandoned Labour over Corbyn and their lack of opposition to Brexit, collaborating with UKIP would be the last straw.

Really... and yet I, apparently a Labour supporter, didn;t believe a word of it... and you got all passionate about supporting him and the war. Got to wonder what happened to the critical faculties on that one Martin?

Anthing you like... I could do with some new screwdrivers.

Indeed. Our political spectrum definitions are vastly different from our near neighbours. The nearest comparison is the Marmite and Vegemite debate!

Perhaps like Corbyn you're a pacifist or an idealist, I don't know. But I do know that no matter what Labour did you still supported them every single day.

I don't have a screw loose at the moment so I am not in possession of any screwdrivers. Would you like my signed copy of the D:Ream single "Things can only get better"?

Serious question though, do you think you'll see another majority Labour government in your lifetime?

Or... as you know... I actually paid attention to all the issues and was able to form an argument and maintain my position without believing the pro war nonsense regardless.... and clearly i did not continue to support them after the Gulf War... I wanted their leader arrested for war crimes

Okay... put that up aainst my Frog Chorus and bets on!!!

Excellent tactic for regaining public trust, smear those life long supporters that are leaving a party that has lost it's way because they have a different opinion on mass immigration and the EU.

How's that working out for Labour anyway?

It's works well for UKIP... they have no problem with racist support.

To be fair I didn't support them either but you must be happier with Corbyn now.

Not right now it doesn't. And with you now in your early 70s...!

Labour can't even share the same bed with Labour - let alone another party. The PLP is about to start a work to rule.

One of the reasons that Ed Miliband lost is that the voters don't like the idea labour had to follow instructions from SNP.
