Louise to win, but only...

... if that means Kevin Clifton gets a duffer for a partner next series leaves early on.

It might be a small price to pay for total fweedom next year

He'd still go far with a duffer and people will still complain about it and pretend that he was given a contender from the start anyway. The sooner people accept that he's a popular pro who choreographs routines that works with a large section of the audience, the happier they'll be. With acceptance comes peace.

That's NOT a reason for a very mediocre dancer to win... I vote for the celeb not the pro, and Louise has been my least favourite for some time now. In any case, who's to say the PTB won't push for Kevin to be the first male pro to win twice?

I would hardly call any of the celebs left in 'mediocre' but hey ho. It's all about opinions and I respect yours even if I don't agree .

I think it would be moreso Kevin who pushed for that than TPTB. He's got a competative streak a mile wide

As much as i hate the idea, i do think it would make DS interesting

Pros almost always get a duffer the year after winning though, especially after a run of good celebs.
They pushed Pasha to win, and now he's had two duds in a row. Do you think it could be his time to shine again next year?

He hasn't won once yet so has a way to go to win twice! I like Kevin but I find Louise to be very bland, and without passion. The judges said Claudia didn't have passion but at least she tried. Louise just seems to go through the motions emotionally. Yes technically she is a good dancer but she doesn't seem to 'feel' the music.

I don't think Louise has the full package that a winner should have like Danny has therefore that's why id support him to win over Louise

I'm just saying that I think its wrong to assume Kev will be on duffer duty when/if he eventually wins. As Joe14 says, that is the done thing normally, but after 3 years of sticking up for Kevin I have finally accepted that someone somewhere is desperate for him to win.

She may be boring, vanilla, bland, inexpressive, etc, but mediocre she is not.

OK, someone like Danny was likely to be a reasonable dancer but who knows about other celebs and their danceability? If it's an actor who went to drama school, they will have done some basic stage dancing and not necessarily ball room or Latin. Who would have thought Colin Jackson would have been SO good?

I just don't think they can guarantee a pro will get a duffer, except when they have celebs such as Widdicombe etc. Who'd have thought Naga would have been such a non dancer?

I should have been clearer.

I find Kevin extremely annoying, and would rather he never won the Glitterball. But until he does, it appears he will continue to be partnered with one of the more capable celebrities.

So if Louise winning on Saturday when i won't be watching is what it takes for Kevin to be partnered with a guaranteed early boot next year, it's a small price to pay. For me.

*I would never normally want the weakest dancer to win the final, and if I was watching on Saturday, I wouldn't want Louise & Kevin to win.

She was the weakest of the 4 semi finalists, but somehow gets 9s and 10s for looking at the floor and making mistakes. A Danny/Ore/Claudia would have been much more interesting.
