You don't know unless you know the guy personally and know what he's thinking. It just suits your agenda to think the very worst of him...that he is a fake and liar.
Now let's get this straight from the outset - I am a bloke and have NO problem seeing a guy show his emotions. I also like Ore - but the one thing that really annoys me about him is his fake crying. It is so forced it is untrue. I have quoted you Oicho because you sum it up in a nice tidy nutshell.
As for me, he is no less of a man - but he is a very poor actor when it comes to pretending to cry. Ironic really, because the vast majority of the acting skills he employs in his dancing are top notch...
I'm not savaging at all - I've said it time without number here that I like Ore and admire all he has achieved on Strictly. However (and I could, of course, be wrong) his 'crying' does come across (to me) as very fake and insincere.
Personal opinions are exactly what they are.

Possible but not in my case - I have zero reason to put Ore down.
With all due respect vald, I suggest you read all of the above, (particularly the BIBs) and then look up the true definition of the word "agenda".

My fellow forum member Dfer sums it up perfectly in five simple words (BIB below)

Ore knows he is very good but tries over-earnestly to play it down. I know it would not be attractive for him to give off an air of "of course it was great - after all, I am the very definition of the word 'great'" - but he should be advised to find a balance and not go too far one way or the other. Someone like Jake Wood found such a balance.

His fake sincerity very much reminds me of possibly the worst offender of displaying it in Strictly history - Lisa "Really?" Snowdon.
The worse one for that is Danny and Oti.
Every week and more so leading up to the semi final plus I'm sure it will be bought up again tonight on ITT... Both Danny and Oti plays down how good Danny is, they keep reminding us how hard Danny has to work (10 hours plus per day) because he has problems picking up the basic steps let alone Oti's routine.
Oh pleeeease *rolls her eyes*
And I do not buy this "I'm so nervous before every dance" as if it's eating him up inside.
Being nervous is a normal reaction but I'm sure he's exaggerating just a wee bit.

I did read them all but qualifying your insult with a 'but I like him really' doesn't make it any less of an insult to call him a fake and liar.

But you *are* asserting as fact that he cries for effect. It's not fact.

Why can't he just be the kind of full-on person that doesn't appeal to you? Because that's about where I am with Ore. He seems like a lovely chap but he doesn't have the type of personality I gel with. That's fine. That's why IRL we are friends with some people and not others - we find some people simpatico and not others.

It's just different strokes for different folks.

Same goes for you.

I see Danny as lacking in confidence and having immense fear of failure if he doesn't put in twice as many hours as everyone else. Others might be put off by too much perfectionism in a competitor.

I don't see fake humility in either of these two guys. They're in the middle of the pressure cooker of Strictly and producing the best dances they can to be broadcast live for all of us on a thoroughly entertaining show. Some viewers will identify with and gravitate towards some personality types more than others. That's all.

There is no need to impugn any of the competitors as fakes and liars.

In your opinion, I guess we won't agree on this one.

Anyway, I was replying to a poster that accused Ore of

I reckon you have to be in a bad place to start an unpleasant thread about a stranger.
I totally agree, or you have to be in that bad place then to make ANY derogatory remark about ANY dancer, who is a stranger. Food for thought to EVERYONE who does this then.

For somebody, who by their own admission, has 10 different accounts and uses them to vote for Ore, I find any of your posts laughable. We get it, you love Ore; desperation is not an attractive trait though really ..."rolls her eyes"

As I recall, you were one of the first to post threads of condemnation, wrapped up in 'I like him but...' clothes
BIB: 8th out of 8 - in normal life that is called LAST...and means something very different to FIRST.

"Threads"??? Name them if you can...

If you think I don't like Ore but am too fearful to say so, you need to go get a life. If I didn't like him I would (NEWSFLASH!!!) just say it. Who is gonna stop me??? If you bothered to open your eyes when he was first selected, I whooped with joy because he is a fellow Nigerian and, having seen his 'Hey Ya' performance on "Let's Dance for Comic Relief", I even declared that he could well be the first black winner of Strictly.

All clearly aiming to codemn a guy I don't even know...

next time take my comments and opinions in context especially in relation to replies to other posters.

We get it, you do not like Ore, you've made it so obvious.
But accusing me of supporting him out of desperation is out of order.

We all have our favourites doesn't mean we are all wrong because we don't agree with your opinion.
Not once have I ever made snide comments to another FM supporting their favourite.

Because I use my intelligence and found a way of using my family's email addresses that have already been registered on the BBC website to vote for Ore (with their permission) and vote on multiple browsers, does not make me laughable

and I can assure you I am not the only one who does this, but at least I openly admit it

if you are going to quote me, then learn to do it properly. I have never said he was a liar - that would only refer to you in this very instance.

See it as you like, I do not buy his tears and you are just going to have to accept that because I will never change my opinion for some FM's sake.

Don't be sorry, if this is your opinion, though it would be nice if you can expand on your reasoning behind your comment

"Asserting the fact". Where exactly???

He was slated but wrongly in my opinion.

In Ore's case however, I feel he has bought that on himself...
Personal opinions are exactly what they are.
Perhaps I haven't made it clear enough that this is my opinion....

No David, you do NEED to be VERY sorry - apparently, you are not allowed to express an opinion around here without being told what you've said is an"insult", ot that "you have an agenda" and "you are asserting what you say as fact".

If someone is pretending to cry then that is a falsehood...a lie. They are setting out to deceive, not in words but in deeds. ...lieing.

I used to cry quite a bit when I started competing. So I would never assume someone else crying is faking it.

Really?

So Tameka "crying" along with Ore after his AS scores makes her a deceitful, lying, devious litlle bitch?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIfq711vheU

Then the whole group pretends to cry - and we are truly overrun by 'dishonesty'...no wonder the world is in the state that is in (rolleyes)

Thanks for clearing that up vald (Professor of English).

Oh whenever anybody cries they're accused of faking it on here. At least Ore's eyes demonstrably well up, so we don't have the usual unedifying spectacle of "I DIDN'T SEE ONE ACTUAL TEAR, I REWOUND THE TAPE FIVE TIMES".
