If you replaced the words 'white' or 'English' with Islamic and removed the Nazi symbolism (skull and crossbones motifs, photos of Nazi salutes) it would be hard to differentiate the two.

The requirements to join were interesting. Stated aim of being primarily a youth group including inspiring stories about activists who were still in secondary school.

To join you must be prepared to attend training courses where you would recieve a 'blow to the head' to make sure you're ready for action. No people with mental illness, including homosexuality. It's okay to have doubts about the cause, your older buddy would ensure that your questions are fully answered. Must be white British and willing to participate in action; failure to participate will mean eventual expulsion. Failure to observe a strict dress code would result in a warning then expulsion.

Doesn't sound very appealing to me but then I suppose I'm not their target.”

Until reading this I thought they were just another protests group a bit like the EDL. I am all for free speech but on this occasion I agree with the ban

I'm surprised they don't get on better.”

Why do you call them Islamic extremists when what they are doing is mainly defined in the religious book and the reasons to dislike 'others' are also there for all to see? Surely the ideas behind any organisation is what is stated by their literature?

Oh, didn't you hear? You're being monitored anyway.

Isn't that their interpretation of the book that is extreme, hence the name

I don't like agreeing with Rudd but yes, I agree that free speech shouldn't include grooming school children to become violent, potentially criminal, Nazi thugs.

People who insisted that Thomas Mair was shouting "Britain's Got Talent" in Birstall town centre will probably be relaxed about these groups.

There was an interesting discussion on Newsnight last night of how far right and Islamist extremists are practically feeding off each other. It's almost in their interest for the "cultural war" between Islam and the West to be ramped up.

Of course. It's a small scale version of what ISIS are doing. There is nothing for ISIS in murder, it doesn't matter to them. They want to provoke a war.

It's the same with Islamist groups and far-right groups in this country.

Isis want Islamic domination of the world. Thankfully their days are numbered.

As a group, yes (until the next group). But their damage is done. To young people indoctrinated, to democracy, to the relative peace in Europe. It isn't about guns and bombs.

Same with the far right. They want to indoctrinate.

And the far right / extreme right want the complete opposite, the end of immigration and multicultural societies. They are two sides of the same coin in their political outlook, just at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Some people have different views on what they call far right. I vote UKIP to some people that makes me far right. I don't consider myself far right. I am just anti EU

I don't consider UKIP to be far right, although I think they are clever to stay just the right side of the line.

Those other kind of groups are way beyond UKIP.

No problems with what they say, but the minute they give anyone a plane ticket to Turkey, it's off to Syria to be tried by Assad for war crimes, as far as I'm concerned.

Back in the IRA days, so early-mid 90s.

I think some of the verses in the Koran are very clear about killing non believers.
100 people in this group? Obviously a bunch of headers but do they warrant a ban?

Why don't they monitor them?
They monitor 4000 Islamic extremists 24 hours a day in believe.

I notice Marine le Pen describes UKIP's policies being absolutely identical to that of the Front Nationale and yet her party is described as far right, so who knows.

You think the IRA are left wing in their views? really? punishment beatings, knee cappings, and executions for things like drug dealing, dating someone from 'the other side' racial and religious discrimination are left wing attitudes and ideals?

Although they are nationalists which you would normally associate with the right or far right, ideologically they (Sinn Fein) are far to the left, being closely aligned with Marxism. They would be pro Fidel Castro, pro-Palestine and anti-Israel for example.

Well, certainly Ken Livingstone, Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abott & John McConnell all consider Sinn Fein/IRA to be a leftist party. Although Sinn Fein did support the Nazis during the war.

I think that may have been the tiny rump outfit known as the IRA in fact at that point, an organisation that was banned in Ireland and its members interned by De Valera.

UKIP are most certainly Far Right. The fact that they have to go out of their way to be 'clever', to hide their Fascistic leanings, speaks volumes about the ideology underpinning their entire political rhetoric. Some people sympathetic to Nige's 'common man' act roll their eyes when you mention Nazism in the same breath as UKIP, but Adolf's mob didn't start out by saying: "We'd like to exterminate everyone who disagrees with us!", otherwise they would never have gotten into power.

Same with UKIP. They'll hide what they are until they get within a whisker of authority, then gradually reveal their true nature.

Also, they are being aided and abetted by the right wing press. If the Daily Express for example was to describe Farage and UKIP as being far right, then they would be conceding they, as Farage supporters, are a far right newspaper. So they have to come up with euphemisms about UKIP merely being 'Eurosceptic' and 'anti establishment' etc. There is a fair bit of smoke and mirrors going on : apparently nobody in Britain is far right, apart from the BNP and the EDL (who have absolutely miniscule support).

I suspect that people roll their eyes when you mention Nazism because you throw out allegations about groups' "true nature" without evidence.
