Yeah, Saddam and Ghadafi were deposed by their erstwhile ally, the U.S. who changed policy from supporting stable if unsavoury regimes to supporting regime change .... which destabalised the entire middle east along the Shia/Sunni faultline.
The west needs to stop thinking Saudi Arabia is freindly. It is not.
