I am fed up with infantile threads claiming "bias", "fixing", "favouritism" etc.

If yout favourite couple is in the bottom two,
if your favourite is sent home by the judges,
if your favourite doesn't get the marks you think they deserve,
if the music and/or dance allocated to your favouriote is not to your liking,
if one of the presenters or judges doesn't make a positive comment to/about your favourite,
AND/OR a presenter or judge makes a positive comment to/about someone who is NOT your favourite....
IN BRIEF, if something happens that could hinder (in your opinion) the chances of your favourite becoming the winner...

GROW UP,
SHUT UP
& please STOP contaminating the forum with hysterical, farcical, infantile threads!

Talking about "injustice" and making comparisons to North Korea are offensive to people who really have their lives influenced by such things and bleating on & on because things haven't gone your way is more typical of Primary School kids!

A healthy, mature exchange of opinions is fine, kindergarten-style protestations are tedious!

rant over...

Also don't bother reading them if you think they are infantile.

LOL, course I do, but there seem to be so many of these threads recently...

Also don't bother reading them if you think they are infantile.
I rarely do, but as I skim the thread titles and glimpse: "Petition to bring back Claudia after that fix of a result (sic)", "Would the North Koreans be proud?" & "Had the biased judging sickened you...", it is quite clear what sort of thread it is going to be!

Incidentally, these 3 have been cropped from the FIRST TEN titles on the forum, backing up what I said above about how many there are!

Think it is mainly what people like, and I think forums like this are mainly for a bit of a rant/banter and see if they can rile people up

I think posts complaining about threads are infantile.
Why? Do you believe complaining is a trait of infants or is there some other thought process behind your reply that escapes me?

Golly, someone felt so strongly they resorted to angry capitals. Quake in fear, DS posters, or those big, badass letters are going to hunt you down. Or something.

OP, I think your satnav might be on the fritz.

This is the SCD forum less than a week before the final.
In such a place at such a time, when a man is tired of infantile threads claiming "bias", "fixing", "favouritism" etc, he is tired of life.

I agree, I am particularly shocked at how aggressive individuals can become on this forum when you don't happen to share the same opinion as them. I don't ordinarily come across many people like this.

No keep it up, we don't want the forum to go all sensible. I relish reading posts from people getting all hot under the collar and spouting rubbish. It gives me free rein to do the same.

People are just on a whinge because they didn't get their way. It's been the same since at least Zoe Ball's year when the judges were accused of favouritism towards her and people bitched that she got through to the final unfairly.

While I am totally bored with the conspiracy theories and the obsessive (an understatement) fan style some people seem partial to, I think threads like this are not a good idea.

Sorry OP. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it is ridiculous and infantile. I'll continue to reply to and challenge those that speak utter nonsense (when I can be bothered), rather than asking them to stop completely - this is a discussion forum, after all.

By trying to shut down the petty opinions of others, you give them cause to call you petty.

I agree with the op.

I'm not sure if some people realise how ridiculous they sound with their posts.
