It's an abomination.

Funnily enough I love almonds - any kind of nut really (except the human kind ), but marzipan is like eating almond flavoured sugar. Yuk.

When did you find out? Was it when you tasted it, or was smelling it enough?

Hilarious. A terrorist treat sounds rather sinister. I'm also a marzipan hater, I'm afraid to say... Marzipan, you are a terrorist now.

I've always disliked sugary sweetness, like marzipan and icing. Chocolate I'm fine with though - barring the diabetes factor

What's that coloured cake with marzipan around it?

I just remembered, Battenberg! I always took the marzipan off.

No. The media has nothing to do with it. The reason i and other people people think Muslim when they hear terrorism is because, just as in the past it was the IRA, now its mostly Muslims.

I love a thread about food items and terrorism, there aren't enough of them.

Please stick to the topic being discussed as per the DS rules. This thread is about marzipan and Bath bombing something or other.

I've never had an almond croissant. Never even heard of them. Generally speaking though, if it smells like almonds and tastes like almonds it's probably made of almonds.

Either that, or someone's trying to poison you with cyanide. A terrorist, perhaps?

this thread and its pathetic "comedy" responses is why terrorism breeds,

people falling overthemselves to ignore the elephant in the room whilst it quietly dumps on their heads

sickening

Another senior moment.

So story so far, we're all in the bath eating (or not) cyanide marzipan looking for the meaning of terrorism covered in elephant dung?
Too much, pass the gin.

Because it's quite clear from the opening posts that the OP already 'knows' the answer and is fishing for replies.

That's why I'm talking the p*** and I hope it's why everybody else is.

Perhaps there's a plot by Muslim sleeper cell shop keepers to sell marzipan based goods that are really cyanide.
