Kevin probably has been rummaging around Brendan's 80's collection...

Why does Louise's showdance music make me feel it's going to be flouncy or...bacofoil mark 2...

Very happy we're being treated to Danny's samba again.
Louise's show dance tune is very dated. The other two strike me as great choices. |

OH man...I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that!!!!
![]() Wasn't Bacofoil to Anything for Love by Meatloaf? I feel like that and One Moment in Time are in the same sort of power ballad, ultimate cheese type style! I can see it now... Hope Vicki has got the shiny silver fabric out!

Perhaps the judges will give Danny another opportunity to do his Foxtrot again. It had the look of being fantastic before it all went wrong

Witney is not my favourite but it could be a beautiful romantic dance.
Adele, could be a stunner. Not so keen on Ore's choice but he could pull a Tom Chambers. As for favourite dances, I'm pleased with the three of them. |

But Danny hated his foxtrot - his own comments indicated he had a hard time remembering it. And his smile on ITT when talking judges dances suggests it's one he's happy with - maybe his VW or I'd love it to be his QS
I agree that it is mostly likely to be his Quickstep or VW. I think either would be a nice contrast to the Samba. |

I'm not too impressed with what Louise has got but I can see it being close run between Danny& Ore

Louise thrown under the bus... Ore & Danny have far better songs for their show dances...
![]() I'm guessing Louise might do something ballet-themed, could be a real stunner like Caroline Flacks! or meh like Frankie Bridges. Looking forward to seeing whatever Kevin comes up with!

For me and anyone else who doesn't follow the show closely, could someone explain the Bacofoil thing, please?

you can hardly choose a QS for Danny as a dance to improve with the marks he got and then pick the worst dances for the other two so if a strong dance is chosen for one the other two should get a strong choice too

Think Oti must be planning a dramatic contemporary waft that could lose it for Danny--wouldn't the general public respond better to something like his first week cha cha cha? Smart of them to choose the samba, though--I don't think it was Danny's favourite dance, but it is definitely a crowd-pleaser.
Joanne's choice for Ore is perfect, crowd-pleasing and playing to Ore's strengths. No idea what Kevin is thinking. |

until you see the dance on the night you cannot really predict how good it will be by the music others in past years have had great music and not lived up to it
Don't think you will get bacofoil 2 |

I was under the impression that the showdance is the only dance the Pro's has a complete control over.

Yeah... he wants Ore & Jo to win, it's so obvious! So long as a Clifton lifts the Glitter ball, who cares if it's bro or sis?

That's right, so it's a bit silly to say that Louise has been thrown under the bus. If anything, it was her choice or her and Kevin's joint choice.

I was replying to the poster that implied the producers were throwing Louise under the bus with that choice of music

I know that, I forgot to quote him, sorry.
![]() I'm a little tad sensitive today as I've been getting an ear bashing in the forum from all angles because I'm an Ore supporter. Please forgive me
