I agree re Kevin. It's going to be romantic and it won't be bacofoil because Louise would never allow it.

Please tell me she would never allow it!

Well, she said on ITT the one thing she didn't want to wear was a fruity/flowery headdress, and what did she wear on Saturday?!

Just joking, I'm sure it won't be another Bacofoil, but it's fun to speculate!
What name??

There's a tendency to get carried away on show dances and the urge to display your creativity. When they go well it's fantastic but sometimes - not so great.

Also, she weighs a lot less than Lisa, a lot.

Imagine if Danny and Oti did this exact routine in the exact outfits but better just as a get back at darcey for that 9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Thw553snr0

I can't say I was exactly looking forward to the final as no-one I like is in it but the song choices for the showdances, just make me want to switch off! I want to hear upbeat songs for the showdances, not some boring number by Adele, who I can't stand (obviously I'm the only one that thinks that as everyone else in the world seems to love her).

Upbeat songs for the showdances are always the showstoppers, not the slow songs.

Ore has the obviously crowd-pleasing music - Joanne will produce a great routine for him so I am really looking forward to that one.

I think Kevin's choice for Louise is very, very clever. One Moment in Time is a big, big, emotional song which will camouflage Louise's tendency to be a little bit reserved when she dances. I see a fairy princess dress, big crescendos, lots of pivots and some classy American Smooth style lifts at the climax. A whole routine designed to trigger a Craig RH 'gaw-juss'.

It is not a song on my own playlist - but I think Whitney might win it for Louise.

Well, it worked for Louis Smith...

Obviously you've completely dismissed Ore *shrugs*

Ore and Joanne will be doing I Got Rhythm by George and Ira Gershwin, not exactly a slow dance

Not always. Caroline had 'Angels' which was up against 'Don't Stop Me Now', 'A Little Less Conversation' and 'Get Happy'. Caroline's dance stood out and went a long way to winning her that glitter ball.
You can't have upbeat songs all night though and there's already a Samba and a Jive. You need light and shade.

For all the criticism of Caroline being a bit of a bland/meh winner I always remember that showdance. It was a very smart choice by Pasha and Caroline delivered it beautifully.

I agree whether you liked the dance or not it showed off perfectly what she could do and that's what a showdance should do.

Ore and Joanne will be performing a Showdance to “I Got Rhythm” by George and Ira Gershwin
Danny and Oti will be performing a Showdance to “Set Fire To The Rain” by Adele
Louise and Kevin will be performing a Showdance to “One Moment in Time” by Whitney Houston”

Smart choices all - Ore's is going to be very AS which should suit him down to the ground. I just hope Kevin's chereography won't drown Louise - Whitney's very dramatic and I really don't know what Danny's will be but it won't be anything he can't handle - sounds dramatic again.

If you read my post properly I actually said I want to hear upbeat songs for the showdances not the whole of the show.

I can't stand Caroline Flack and wasn't bothered by her showdance. That final was very lacklustre and yet again didn't have the right people in it.

Joanne's choice for Ore is perfect, crowd-pleasing and playing to Ore's strengths.

No idea what Kevin is thinking.”

Very also illustrates the a dance that no one else has ever completely owned in the same way - no one else will do a samba - hasn't seen the final since Zoe Ball for good reason.

Quite. Despite a clash with his AS.

Who chooses the music in the final? Presumably it's not left to the Producers?

Don't like Louise's choice.

Although on the face of it Ore has the best show dance tune it's not the best tune in that genre imho. I think there are better

Re Danny. Adele always great. Seems to me it's going to be quite contemporary which will possibly be quite marmite. Hopefully it will be breathtaking. If anyone can do it Oti can.

I agree that it is mostly likely to be his Quickstep or VW. I think either would be a nice contrast to the Samba.”

I think the VW is more of a contrast which given his comments makes me think it might be that. Shame if it is as I loved the QS.
