Barber took an extra tip off me without asking

I had my hair cut and when charged £7, said "make it eight", then she gave me back just a pound from a tenner. I sort of looked at it then her and paused but didn't say anything, and she didn't either. Was she deliberately ripping me off?

Take your custom elsewhere.

I thought you were going to say off your ear

It was probably just a mistake on her part - thinking she had a pound for herself but gave you a pound instead. You should have said something, but I understand why you didn't.

You didn't say anything, They may have misheard 'give me a pound' or something. You left it so therefore it wasn't a big deal to you. If she was trying her luck then you could have easily deal with it

Are you sure it wasn't a nine quid note?
