How very odd. Perhaps Blackpool can now have an apology from all the people who slagged the town off?

What happened to Gorka then?
Drunkenly walked into a lamp post?
Performed a drunken 'death drop' in the street with Aljaz (as you do)?

Who knows???

The police are saying there is insufficient evidence after scanning video footage and Gorka hasn't reported it and so they have closed the case. That is not the same as saying it did not happen.

The Telegraph now describes the Blackpool incident as an "assault" as do other papers. Note the " ".. When is an "assault" not an "assault"? When it happens to Gorka apparently. Very odd.

They didn't say no attack took place, they said there was insufficient evidence to identify any perpetrator for prosecution, and Gorka didn't want it to be taken further anyway. That's completely different to saying it didn't happen.

A punch up between the three guys maybe? Walked into a pole? Fell down a manhole?

We will never know the details, Hope he's back next year

They never said it didn't happen, just insufficient evidence. I imagine it was just a handbags at dawn situation where Gorka probably feels a bit embarrassed it got heated over presumably something silly.

No they haven't, they've said there is insufficient evidence to sustain an arrest and prosecution and, as Gorka made no format complaint of assault, they are no longer investigating.

We won't see Gorka back next year, I think. He was by far the least successful of the newbies, and now this.

What? That he was jumped and attacked but didn't want to involve the police?

It's really nobody's business but Gorka's. Maybe he didn't report it or talk about it was because he didn't want all this fuss into his private business

Well there's no proof of that. Just a story he's been spinning.

Interesting that you accuse him of spinning stories when he hasn't ever actually made a statement about it.
