That was my thought exactly this morning when I saw that the update wasn't finished.
It would have been mayhem without the spoiler last weekend.

I don't think they've done the upgrades as yet. So far, it seems they have just migrated all the current data over, our messages, PMs etc.....
I think Phase 2 ( hopefully not just yet ! ) will be the upgrade part, new emojis, new facilities etc ...

Can I just say, I'm really sorry mods, but it was a really daft decision to upgrade the forum in the final week of Strictly.

I know you're probably not being entirely serious but the Strictly section is not even in the top five of popular DS forums, even sport beats it. so I doubt they even thought about it. This year it seems even quieter than usual.
I am glad that it's back for the final though and I'm looking forward to the new re-boot (if only to be able to search again).

Its a shame they haven't completed the upgrade since from my experiences in IT they haven't done the difficult part of it yet. Migrating the data is one thing. Updating the software is something else..........
