Anyone catch this?

I quite enjoyed it, although the "Back to the Future" mentality shone through. What I mean there is the change in current day circumstance after the past has been buggered up.

The future episodes could be fun...lets see

I thought that was the most interesting bit. Not very clear why the criminal gang wanted to change the past though - maybe that will become clearer later.

You were probably in the right place

I sometimes get confuzzled as to where things should be...no doubt the mods will get it sorted..

**buggers off to read FR thread in Cult**

It will and then again it won't.

Surely all atom bomb tests in Nevada were underground. That test would have irradiated most of the people in Las Vegas surely

Yeah. I did wonder about that. But the Nevada desert's rather large and I guess if the tests were small enough and the wind was in the right direction they could have been safe enough.

Nope. No idea really. Just some random thoughts

As usual, Google/Wiki is your friend

Just why have all these new shows got to have some damnably infuriating on going insidious conspiracy with some stupid b****y name, that no one has a chance in heck of working out until some great big ludicrous reveal so far down the road that there is absolutely no chance of anyone ever finding out, because the show gets canned after 1 or 2 seasons. Cos it increasingly looks like Timeless isn't going to get very far down that road.

Sorry rant over.

Sadly not. Look up "Trinity(nuclear test)" on Wikipedia.

Blindspot, Castle got f****d up by two in its last two seasons, although admittedly the first one didn't have a stupid name, but ultimately ended being related to the second which had a really idiotic name. OK HTGAWM, doesn't actually have a stupid name, buts it's basically a season long reveal to a murder. The Player never got so far as to actually reveal the stupid name, it was that c**p it got canned before anyone could work it out.

Quantico just had a silly plot, no name I think. Designated Survivor is a long game plot. Sorry no silly name, or if there is I'm not aware of it cos I don't watch.

Six examples in the last two years is pretty good, considering I don't watch that much.

The Quantico one got solved; mostly. They did set up the second season at the end though. But I agree with the premise of your complaint.

It looks like they did do them above ground.

Just watched the first one and enjoyed it as a bit of lightweight fun. It's refreshing to have a time travel series where the present day can be affected by what happens when the past is tinkered with.
