With the forums down for the last 48 hours or so, how did you get your fix of gossip and discussion?

I simply just spoke to real people.....in person....i hated it.

Not sure I think much of this new, all-singing, all-dancing DS forums though. Looks similar to before.

I just hibernated for a few days. You should see the size of my nuts.

Went to work, did Christmas shopping, that sort of thing.

I never even noticed so yea, Got on with life. Can't be great to 'miss' some forum online

Where are all the new items and other new things you can do in these forums? Can't see them.

Work, shopping, home, preparing for Christmas. Barely much time for forums atm. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished article though

I tried to find new forums but didnt really find anything that would have interested me. What other ones are there? I like just general chit chat or discussion about current affairs.

Anyway, I did even more internet shopping than normal and read threads I wouldnt normally have been interested in.

I kept refreshing the age, and clicking on the 'these threads have not been updated in 24 hours' button.

Reddit, Youtube, catching up on TV. Basically the stuff I do normally, sans DS.

I thought we were getting some new smiley's but we've still got the same ones

Or maybe just a test, to see what happens and what's likely to break!

I visited here sometimes since posting was disabled and it had a ghost town feel to it. None of the posts were, obviously, past the 10:30am mark. Well, not the ones I looked at anyway.

A smidgen of real employment and Christmas shopping bought, wrapped, done and dusted thankfully. Including lots of lazy arse gift vouchers lovingly stuffed into cards and posted.

I spent four days in West Wales with my wife, my children, their partners and my grand children.

Someone's gonna say "You poor sod!"
