I'm sure they are a very nice family but every Christmas it's always the same: "Britain's biggest family (they don't receive any benefits, btw!) has ANOTHER child. You won't BELIEVE how long it takes them to cook Christmas dinner!" No I wouldn't and I also don't bloody care! I'm sure they are a nice family and they come across pleasant and hard working but it's more of the fault of the newspapers and television programmes forcing them down our throats all the time!

Not 100% sure, but I think this may be the first time I've ever heard of them, unless I've just forgotten.

Never heard of them but what's it matter how many children they have if they go to work and aren't living off state benefits?

For a moment I thought the forums are back but all jumbled up, I thought it was going to be about the Radford family who were villains on The Bill years back

Maybe it says more about the type of newspapers you read and TV programmes you watch.

This is the first I have heard of them.

The Radfords were ages ago. Father Karl Radford has even regenerated into Sergeant Callum Stone.

I read these posts in quick succession and started singing (who, who.... ).

I think I'm drunk on the joy of being back or something

Are there really people out there who have never heard of the Radfords?
Do they never watch TV , read newspapers?
They are a very large family, happy, healthy, well behaved with brilliant parents
I love reading about them
Just google, go to their website, perhaps, and then make informed comments, not ignorant ones!

Can't remember if I've read about them before or not so I'll join in with "Who?"

At least it's not another benefit bashing thread.

What's ignorant about saying you/we haven't heard of them? We don't all watch the same TV programmes.

Have you heard of Rectify - possibly the best TV series ever made in the USA? No? It's fantastic, you should give it a go. I imagine most people on here haven't, yet I wouldn't call you ignorant for not having seen it.

I realise that. But they have been on TV, on the news ,magazines and newspapers so many times

It's a different matter about series made in the USA
I wouldn't expect to be familiar with them if they haven't been on UK tv
