Yes, I think it's immaturity with him, rash throwing, like there's an excitable child in there?

Are you looking forward to Taylor / Huybrechts later?
Yes the later stages of the worlds, you can't beat it

I often find the problem with the PDC World Championship is (other than the constant "Stand up if you love the darts" chant that gets very boring very quickly) is that the desire to load all the big names into the evening session generally leaves the afternoon session looking a bit lightweight in comparison.

It's not to say that there aren't still decent matches/players in it, but it is generally a bit too lop-sided to make the afternoon session "unmissable".

The thing with Wade is, can he keep this run going? It will still grate on him that he's never won it and his best showing has been those 3 semi finals and he's never managed to get over the line and into the final.

I think not because of the weight of the present company and I agree with you, pyschologically it must play on the mind and if it was going to happen it wouyld have happened by now. As much as I am rooting for James, I feel the end is nigh.

I reckon the novelty of Freed From Desire or whatever it's called will be wearing thin soon although right now I like it, got a real 90's feel to it That reminds me, I need to find out who it's by so...

Wade's best chance was when he blew a 5 1 lead in the semi final in I think 2012? Lewis just wasn't at the races but Wade crumbled. great come back from him today though well deserved win.
by the way, what's happened to the 4th referee Kirt Bevans? haven't seen him since Christmas.

Not sure. I don't take much notice of the callers. Fact I only know the name because I'm a big fan of Countdown.

That John McDonald's all global now, goes everywhere doesn't he - and... whatever happened to... "Let's... Play... Darts" - they don't say that anymore.

Thank goodness!!....that was just on the BBC's coverage of the "Pub Darts" World Championship though, the PDC's on SKY has never had that cringe inducing introduction.

Your're right - I was thinking of the BDO or as you rightly say "pub darts" - is Wolfie still in it?

The end is nigh? he will win more majors, for the worlds he has time who knows he is young, he's one of the most successful players in PDC history

Expect this one to be a cakewalk for Snakebite, White has never really turned up against one of the big boys.

Could be 3 walkovers tonight, Kim has the best hope of doing something.

I know sorry

But I don't think so really he has many years, sure it's unlikely with MvG and Anderson around, but you never know when you look at what he's won.

The mistake Ian White made there in missing the big 16 is exactly the kind of thing that separates players like him from players like Peter Wright generally.

Snakebite looks like the chef in a Mr. Benn adventure.

Wright an absolute class apart here.

Mini-revival from White prevents the whitewash.

Just got back in now, have Sky been building up Taylor v Huybrechts as if both players absolutely despise each other?

As Public Enemy said, don't believe the hype.

There's no love lost because of a match a couple of years back when Huybrecht's antics (jumping about) annoyed Taylor and he made it known.

Huybrechts has said that he's not interested in what Taylor thinks or does this time around, he's going to play his own game.

I think that as like last time, Taylor's darts will do the talking.
