So depending on who wins we will have a PDC first

Taylor wins - first time top 4 seeds have been the last 4
Barney wins - first time no Englishman in the semi finals

Barney takes the board down and gets Taylor to sign it.

It's just disrespectful from the young lad Dave.

Barney looked out on his feet and completely knackered during that , he cant be like that against MVG

Well done Barney and as Darren said... No Englishman in the semi finals this year!

Cracking line up, I'm really looking forward to Anderson v Wright. They're both playing so well it could be a classic.

We've written him off hundreds of times before but I think the sands of time have pretty much run out for Phil to be honest. Can't see him winning this title again he just doesn't have the bottle for it anymore and these lads dont fear him.

it's really close now isn't it, he always comes back with a major or two, but I can't see it now.

Nice hangover cure for Sunday night. Both semi's could be classics to be honest

That was like a battle of two has beens

Wouldn't be surprised if Sky created a seniors tour to keep Taylor playing..........and competitive

Barney seems to play above himself against MvG should be good,

I predict an MvG Snakebite final, I'm rooting for Snakebite he deserves a tv major, imagine his first major being a worlds it would amazing for him.

The quality really wasn't all that in that match, constantly laggy and it was just a case of take advantage of the big mistakes each time. But there was also some great finishing as well at times. Don't think MVG should be too concerned though.

Glad Taylor is gone though, his interview the other night left a lot to be desired.

When does it never though with him? I only started watching darts properly in 2011 and the urge to do something violent and unpleasant when I see or hear Phil has never left me.

Which, sadly, probably says more about me than him.

The afternoon session today was definitely the highlight of the tournament thus far for me though. Gripping stuff.

You can't (or at least couldn't) but admire Taylor's skill and talent as a darts player, but as a person, he wouldn't be top of my list of darts players to spend an evening with. Why he gets to sit in the studio and exchange insults with Wayne Mardle when the world champion, a far more personable and interesting character does his interview "in public" on the floor is a mystery.

I fear that when he eventually does hang up the darts he'll be employed by Sky as a pundit / expert, or worse, as a commentator.

Yes that's the main positive of him continuing to play at least we don't have to suffer him being condescending and patronising all the time on Sky as a pundit!

They'll bend over backwards to still have him part of the show once he does pack up so he'll end up on Sky in one role or another.

Sadly, I reckon he will be. That game took so much out of him and he needs to be at 100% of his absolute best to even give MVG a game. Plus the fact that MVG will remember what happened last year and be even more determined not to let it happen again, thenI will go for an easy 6 - 3 or 6 -2 win to MVG.
Would love to see Wright get to the final (and win it), but I reckon Anderson will have that little extra when needed to beat him.
