Would love to see Wright get to the final (and win it), but I reckon Anderson will have that little extra when needed to beat him.
Sporting Life at least think otherwise...

would love Snakebite to get through and I think it will be a great semi but Gando will just nick it for me.
at the risk of sounding like Wayne Mardle, the other semi is all about RVB Imo. he looked absolutely shot on Friday and if he plays like he did against Taylor he loses 6 2 or 3 at best. If he plays like last year though... who knows?

My concern is with a Wright win then MVG could easily beat him 7-0 in the final. Wright has zero confidence playing MVG and seems to go into their finals knowing he would lose.

At least Anderson would make it a closer game.

Peter Wright has a lot to prove tonight.

Is he destined to play second fiddle to your Andersons and MvGs or does he have the capability to match and overcome them?

If it's the latter, he's got to start showing it - starting tonight.

Boy, they've cranked these intros up to 11 this evening

When he first arrived on the scene, I couldn't stomach Wright and his silly costumes and prancing about. But you know what, his darts do the dancing too and just then in that interview... "I'm not going to lie down and have my tummy tickled" - wow, he is such a nice guy and so cool - really warmed to Snakebite now - officially Scottish isn't he? Not a Caledonian accent though, I was just thinking tonight's semis are all Scots and all Dutch.

However, I am having a problem with Dave Clark's boat - did he fall out of the fugly tree or what. Sometimes I imagine he could be a waxwork horror at Madame Tusauds. Yes, when he gets on I have to look away, I mean, looking at Mardle ain't too clever either.

Anderson takes the first set three legs to zip.

Ominous early signs for Wright and his supporters.

Hopefully he'll be able to kick on now he's won his first leg.

Needs a leg to settle but isn't being allowed. Should get on the board with this d12 and does.

That first leg done him over, while Anderson looks deadly.

Come on Wright.

Next set is vital for snakebite on his throw he can't afford to go 3-0 down.

Wright picking his game up now and looking a bit more confident.

3-1 Anderson!

What a magnificent set of darts that was, both players averaging 110+ with three consecutive ton finishes - but Anderson just blew Wright away with power scoring in that deciding leg.

Wright's still in this but he's still missing too many doubles.

Big difference between 2-2 and 3-1 - Anderson is in the box seat.

Yes Dave Clarke has Parkinson's disease.

Same old Wright missing key doubles late in majors, come on.

Cant wait for the BDO world finals to start next week where the crowd wont be full of drunken yobs like it is tonight

Players are given quiet to throw darts at Frimley Green, whereas most of the drunks in tonight's audience probably don't even realise a darts match is on

I agree the standard might be worse but at least I can take my nephew to Frimley Green without fear of him hearing foul language and chanting.

Wright clings on at 3-2!

Anderson just dropped off a bit in that set and Wright took advantage.

What a set that was. Not 4-1 now but Wright with some kind of chance? Still think Ando will win but I am willing these darts into the segments for Snakebite.
