How about a STRICTLY IT TAKES TWO after the final

I have always thought Strictly should do a special It takes two on the Monday after the final. Bring the winner and all the celebs back in and have a chat about the show. There highlights etc.

What do you think?

I would love it, anything to prolong the series

I agree.

I can never understand why this doesn't happen. A final hour long programme with all the behind the scenes outtakes and the wrap party would be a show not to miss from Strictly fans.

Exactly

As someone from Ireland and can't vote in the show it would be a nice way for the show to wrap up. On plus side Dancing with the Stars Ireland is starting on January 8th.

There was one on the red button after last year hosted by Jeremy Vine. But I agree a mainstream one would be good, I'd have suggested when the results show would normally be but the beeb seem to have SPOTY/Apprentice finals shoehorned in for that.

Great idea - a final ITT would round the series off perfectly. Like others i can't understand why it's never happened.

Been said many times. I also don't know why it hasn't happened - as a wind-down.

They did at one time. I remember seeing Darren and Mark on a winners ITT when they won, but can't remember when the Beeb stopped doing it.

It's such a shame we see the couples to this point then sort of nothing much after the final. I know there is red button interviews after the show finishes but that is not the same and not everyone can see it, and that will stop if the BBC drop their red button coverage.

Yes I remember at least one ITT show after the final. It was when Claudia was still hosting the show but I can't remember who was on it.

Is it on Red Button this year, not seeing it listed?

That's discrimination. Many Strictly fans can't use the famous Red Button - not on mainland, BBC iPlayer doesn't work, etc

Doesn't seem to be - Zoe didn't mention anything about it on ITT tonight (and instead mentioned that both she and Jeremy Vine are going to Miranda hart's viewing party!)

It'll be really poor if there isn't any sort of post-show interview with all the finalists...

Strictly doesn't officially end until Christmas day so a post final itt would be great .

I wondered when Michael Ball said he was going to Zoe's/Miranda's party. I thought hang on Zoe, aren't you doing a red button interview? I'll be gutted if they don't.

I've always wanted an ITT wrap show after the final too, count me in for that.

Ive thought exactly the same for years. I also think there ought to be a week before the first dance show as a introduction.
