This explains why Coronation Street was abruptly removed from Hulu earlier this year. ITV and the BBC are launching a joint streaming service in the US called Britbox that will have shows from both networks including Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale, the episodes will be posted 24hrs after they air in the UK.

I know this doesn't affect most people on here but I'm very excited about this.

Aww I missed your Ross fan boy posts the last couple days

But seriously I really hope people get into all 3 of the soaps and enjoy them as much as I do. I think if marketed right they could become very popular over here.

I can't imagine it will be more than 10 bucks a month, they need to keep it in the same price range as Hulu and Netflix.

It is possible, I know around the time Hulu stopped airing Corrie was around the time ITV started having all the classic Corrie and Emmerdale clips removed from youtube so maybe the will be releasing classic soap episodes as well.
