Hello

Ordered 4 items with them, Ready for the new house (we move Tuesday)
arrived at 8:30am today and knew something was wrong, The delivery guys refused to even let us see one of the wardrobes they said it had been damaged in Transit
a 3 drawer chest was missing but the other order was fine all packed up.

Once it was opened the right hand side looked like it had been dropped from a height
spent 3 hours on the phone. and it was like talking to a brick wall., they sent 6 emails out all basically fobbing off the chance of a refund and totally getting the order wrong,

Should I just let my Credit Card Company sort this out? its nearly 500 pounds
and just wonder if anyone else has had problems with them they seem in an utter state of chaos

I ordered a settee from them, it arrived with a 3 corner tear in the back
I found it really hard to contact them, I was kept hanging on the phone for long periods.
Emails to them took a very long time to get answered. I eventually got a replacement - with sharp staples showing through
I was so glad to see the back of it
Then they put the wrong amount of money back into my bank, so I had to sort that out
I then ordered a settee from another firm

Hi,

I take it none of the furniture was custom made to your requirements and just off the shelf so to speak? Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you have 30 days from the date of purchase to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund.

If WorldStores are fobbing you off then you should complain to Trading Standards via the National Consumer Helpline on 0345 404 0506 (M-F 9-5) or you can visit your local CAB if you prefer.

See this advice from Which? about faulty goods and you can use their tool to help you complain: http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-righ...faulty-product.

Make sure you take dated photos of the furniture clearly showing the damage, and write down what the delivery guys said to you before you forget. Keep notes of all conversations and copies of all documents and stick to the facts, no need for dramatic content. Do not lose your temper or make any threats when speaking to WorldStores, keep it professional. The law is on your side.

I think the OP is probably sorting it out now anyway, seen the review on TrustPilot.
