Because it doesn't apply to male victims

So why not raise an amendment

I was watching him today, he's a dick and that's being polite.

All he needs to do is put on some weight and his Bernard Manning impression would be complete.

Another Tory backbencher David Nuttall seem to be from the 1950's.

A third Tory involved was Christopher Chope...they have previous....
Quote:
“In October 2015 Nuttall joined with Conservative MPs Philip Davies and Christopher Chope to "talk out" a private members' bill intended to limit hospital parking charges for carers”

How can we stop filibustering in Parliament?

Folk are getting cranky with her there's no doubt about that - something's happening, I'm seeing a Gordon Brown MK 2.

She's at least 14 points ahead of Corbyn in the voting intention polls there's no doubt about that.

What qualities do you think he has for the role of PM?

I'm just saying folk are getting cranky, that's all. Labours problems are fact - the conservatives are not.

Even commited Tories can't deny all is happy and blissful. The extended honeymoon is probably over.

In fact, the huge polling lead might be giving snipers the confidence to come out in the open.

He is just the most unutterable arsehole, isn't he? I mean, I'm a terrible old liberal lefty (although I'm not a Corbynista) so I'm never going to be a big fan of right-wing, back-bench Tories; but he really is a completely charmless, hateful guy.

I don't agree with Jacob Rees Mogg and BIll Cash and John Redwood etc - but at least they seem reasonable people (albeit with eccentric views). Davies just seems like a horrible piece of work.

That's the most important question we should be asking at times like these.

The stupidity of philibustering is astounding, and how we allow such an outdated, improper, grossly time wasting procedure to go unchecked in our highest, law making chambers of the land in the 21st century is frankly nothing short of obscene. In my view it is a crime on a par with acts of treason and should be cracked down upon immediately.

To keep practising this act of sabotage and not reform our parliamentary procedures shows just what little regard these enemies of the people in their Westminster bubble really have for the everyday public who elect them. electorate. To think these criminals want an extra 1.5% pay rise this year too.

He is the greatest of the great and a real man's man.

Only Jacob Rees-Mogg is greater, and maybe Peter Bone.

He's in touch with his feminine side and wears £1,000 leather underpants?

I certainly isn't blissful and the strikes going on at the moment, none of which has been condemned by Corbyn will seal his fate. I confidently expect the Conservative lead to increase as a result.

This poll, from wherever, regarding the upcoming UK presidential election is really interesting - thanks.
Meanwhile, back on topic, looking at that horrible Alan B'Stard serves as a reminder to decent people that the Tory Party will always be beneath contempt.

I'm sure you're right, Corbyn has put the Labour Party in a desperate position BUT... it can only get better for him and it appears to me the best has passed for May, the end of a honeymoon at the dawn of the most unpredictable political paradigm I've ever known.

Who knows where we'll be a few years down the line.

Quite easily. The speaker just needs to set a time limit on how long one member can address the house for before inviting the next member to speak.
Not rocket science,

What is your opinion about the actual topic?

IMO this kind of nonsense needs to be stopped.

Absolutely. Even on a bad day she has nothing to fear from Corbyn's Labour.

Guess some Tories aren't on message, the government SUPPORTS this Bill, so deflecting from it is doing the government a disservice.
