Yes, if like me you spend your time watching sad history documentaries, you will know that they were used to dye clothes yellow and brown according to time spend in the skins

We used to boil onion peels as kids, then dip A4 white paper into the water, and set to dry. It gives the paper an old look and feel to it, by dyeing it a yellowish/brownish colour and making it crisped.
It was my obsessed with old things stage...

I used to do the same thing by tearing and roughing up the edges of a piece of paper and then wiping the edges with a wet tea bag to create a mystical ancient scroll

Sometimes, depending on the contract, I work with some unpleasant stuff and it stinks to, so my work wear gets washed separately to ordinary wear, I have a separate washer and dryer in the workshop, Mrs S insisted, kids and all that.

My dryer is kaput, so washed 'em, most clothes that are new I like washed first, so overalls in the kitchen, ready to pop into dryer, onion in the way, phone rang, put onion on wet overalls, next it was evening and large stain.

Onion skins used to be used to dye clothing before modern dyes were invented.

I had some new painter's overalls once. I got blobs of paint all over them. Gutted.

the woman across the road's son is moving out and her boyfriend is moving in.
Why he fancies her beats me, she's as skinny as a beanpole, got some eating disorder no doubt, and she never walks that poor dog of hers, a collie should get plenty excercise, not just a quick pee in the garden. Why do folk keep a big dog in a tiny flat ? it's not for the dog's enjoyment that's for sure.

apart from that, it's a quiet sunday here.

Obvious thing to do is to claim for the cost of a new wonder woman outfit from the shop that sold you onions with no "this product may cause staining" warning label.

How big was this onion? Was it blocking the door(way) or something?
