I did, until I was about 24. I'm 36 now and the thought of going to a place like that makes me feel queasy. some of my mates still love it though.

Yes lots of people. Presumably enough to make it commercially viable.

I used to love pubs and clubs like that great places to pull

Far too old now and everyone looks about twelve when you step into a club

I like a good night out, but would probably end up wanting to fall asleep in a corner nowadays if i stayed out too late.

It wasn't a club. It was a pub and if Platt didn't like it, what was he doing there ?

Yeah its more of a young person's game/setting appropriate for the characters/storyline, I prefer night bars personally more chilled out, few drinks, perhaps some dancing and interaction with some ladies

I felt sorry for David looks like an awful night out and he's still grieving for his wife so I don't think clubbing would help especially with Chesney and Sinead as company. He was there with two couples and both couples ditched him.

Those clubs are fine at 1am in the morning, after you've had a raft of drinks elsewhere. At 6pm in the evening, when the folks on Corrie go clubbing, it'd be pretty harsh alright.
