Well first I am confused what a washing machine is doing in The Queen Vic.....But overall it looks like it is going to be a good Christmas and not completely depressing.....Plus so happy with 0:03 they so suit

I'm not really bothered by the Mitchell stuff, I'm looking forward to Max's return the most.

It looks a bit like Lucy Speed to me. Could she have been recast as another character?

Who is that woman in the scene with Martin, Stacey and Bex? I looked at the Christmas Day cast lists and they haven't credited her.

Well they love to tease us, don't they?

I'm really looking forward to the Christmas episode. For the first time in years we don't really know what's going to happen. I think it will be a very mixed episode. Lots of drama, comedy moments and a Christmassy feel to it. New Years will be the more dramatic part of the festive season.

I just checked the Christmas Day cast list too!

The only other character credited is 'delivery man'

She's way too old to be Vicky. I don't remember Ruth (too young) but she does look like the actress, nose is the same shape. Random that they bring her back though??

Bringing back Derek was a bit random too, although I do quite like him, and Colin showing up for that brief appearance recently was a bit strange as well. I'm only guessing Ruth because of her age/appearace in that brief clip, but it could just as easily be a completely new character.

I'm still not sure why Derek came back, but it's nice to see him. I'm wondering if there's more to it?

I want Derek to stay as a father figure for Martin plus we need more elderly characters.
