Yes, it does seem Starpuss might be due for an appointment with Mr Chopper the Axe if anyone does invent time travel!

Er, would that be in Portugal? 'Cos if it is you might deprive Daily Express readers of hours of reading about the second biggest mystery in the rag's history!

The psychopathic fat bastard and his tiny chopper were the cause of all the trouble in the first place.

The South coast of Portugal is nice at that time of year, yes.

I'd like to go back to the year I was born to experience that year myself as an adult.

If I had a time machine I'd go back and stop the twin towers incident from happening then maybe the world wouldn't have been as screwed up today...

Yes, but if you mess with time you'll get the Dominators coming after you.

Well it would as in all cases only change things if you interfered at the time or came back and told people what you knew about any event.

That's why I included that in the OP. It's one thing to go and find out what really happened in any event but would you then change it at that time or tell people what you knew when you came back to now? (We can leave out the consequences of changing things and/or whether people would believe you when you got back)

I made a special trip to have a look at it in 1999. It's a fast moving road that dips into the underpass and is a lot shorter than it seems on TV. There is no standing room down there and who would want to knowing that there is about to be a high speed car crash?

However, if you position yourself on the pavement at the exit and squat down, you can see the whole length of the underpass. Maybe squat down the other side by the entrance and then you would see the events approaching and the accident itself.

As much as they like pinning everything on one event, I think you will find that the world always has back up ways of screwing itself up.

Yeah, I suppose. It is usually called politicians. After all they create wars, they destroy peoples futures, pensions, chances, you name it they royally arse it up.

I'd like to see if the Moon really was ripped off the Earth forming the Pacific Basin.

Then I'd nip forward to see if King Arthur actually existed and had a round table.

I love myths and legends so wouldn't do that in case I was disappointed!

The line "Zulus - thousands of 'em " is uttered in the film by Colour Sergeant Frank Bourne [played by actor Nigel Green).

However, if you did go back and discovered that the words "Zulus - thousands of 'em" was never actually spoken then it would mean Michael Caines’ entire film career has been built on false pretences;

…he’d need to hand back his knighthood and give all his money to charity.

P.S. the real life 24 year old Frank Bourne (who survived Rorkes Drift) was one of the youngest Colour Sergeants in the British Army;

… not a lot of people know that.
