I had to laugh at Kevin's typical Neanderthal knuckle-dragger reaction to finding Phelan had said a few things to Anna it was like "Ugh Ugh My woman ugh ugh" I almost expected him to start wielding a big club captain caveman style and when he was talking about the confrontation with the other resident Neanderthal Tyrone comments like "I reckon I could have had him" or something like that, they were like kids in a school playground instead of adults, no wonder the police suspect Kevin.

The King could have swatted Kev like a fly if he'd wanted to.

This Phelan character is AWFUL but he plays the part so well. Gotta have a baddie.

The only way for some of the streets characters react is by clobbering or threatening someone fine examples are Kevin, Tyrone and Gary who don't seem to have a brain cell between them typical Neanderthal knuckle-dragging thickos hence the title.

And we know how you'd react - give him a pat on the back and take him out for a drink.

And spineless cowardly Andy attacked Phelan from behind hadn't got the guts to face him and fight him fairly.

Anna must have thought she was being so clever sending the poison pen letters, but when she realised Phelan knew about it she was all quivering and terrified. Same with Andy - very proud of and satisfied with his 'fearless' attack on the King, but really shocked and scared when Pat told him he knew. These two twerps started things they couldn't finish, and they're lucky Phelan is so understanding and forgiving and hasn't just swatted them into the middle of next week - even from his hospital bed.

Three cheers for the Neanderthal thickos, frankly. They may be thick (a few more blows with that brick and the storyline would finally be over) but I'll take any of them over scum like Phelan. King? The point is, clever people like Phelan never have to fight to get what they want, it's only the Neanderthal knuckle-dragging thickos that have to resort to using violence simply because they don't have the brain capacity beyond that.

I must say I'm confused as to who the hard working continuously intoxicated ones you're referring to. I can only imagine what it's like to drive down the highway after those drunken neanderthals in the garage do your brake replacement. They're probably responsible for all the carnage on the roads. Maybe you're talking about the hard working first responders who have to deal with the aftermath of their work. You never get shoddy work like that from a responsible builder and master mason like Phelan. I notice everyone agrees because nobody has ever pointed a finger at the quality of his work, whether it be on a construction site or in the bedroom. I detect a note of jealousy and your harsh words are just a cover to mask your admiration of his regal looks and actions.

Right, yes, because caveman Phelan never spends a whole day in the Rovers. No-one's complained about his work because he doesn't do any, just takes their money and then runs like a thief. Except he's not bright enough even to do that, instead stealing money from people and then getting it stolen off him in turn.
