Found him totally insincere all the way through . And not a great dancer but hey that's life

No-one will be able to say that for a while, possibly the best thing to come out of tonight

I knew Ore would win, just had this feeling.

But, me and my Nan have just won 9 quid each on our Strictly sweepstake wooohoooooo!

Can't believe it's all over.

Didn't previously like Jo but she and Oti have been standout choreographers this year so very well done to her...especially as she was so gracious in sitting out last year. Proof that all good things come to those who wait!”

A friend of mine put a bet on Ore after week one. He's just won £200 ! Like a good racehorse he peaked perfectly!

Haha agree entirely and although my favourite Danny, didn't win, I will remember his samba, showdance, charleston AT and just about all his dances which gives great memories. Goodnight all and hats off to a great series.

Awwww, thank you Fudd, Ore did, but I didn't expect it and Danny's Samba was epic.

It must have been bloody close.

And you're a darling.

Blimey, it's only 9pm. It feels weird having the final wrapped up already!

In previous years, the judges were so picky about hand shaping and not having Spatulistic hands..but clearly thats not important anymore.
Karen Hardy explained that Ore and Louises semi final dances were littered with errors..her words not mine.
And finally, winning with wobbles..remember how picky they were about Caroline and Kimberley needing to fix that..and yet we have wobbles getting 10s.
So glad i decided to boycott watching the final live..the clips and the comments on facebook were far more entertaining than the show which has sadly lost its shine.
i agree with previous poster Danny is the best dancer never to have won Strictly, and the final was lacklustre without Claudia.

Can I just say thank you all for keeping me entertained over the past 4 maths. It's been a pleasure reading and replying to all your messages. See you all next year and Happy Christmas.

It took me a minute to react. Ore got my votes but I was expecting Danny to win.

Bit like our Christmas jumper vote in work yesterday.

Hopefully that will stop any stupid Racism accusations next year.

Danny ballsed up the QS, so not sure what the point about semi-final dances is.

Agreed on Claudia though - no doubt should have had Louise's space

What a fantastic final. The comeraderie amongst the constestants is truly fantastic.
Well done Ore.
I was so torn between the two; danny & Ore but Ore really stepped it up tonight.
I'm so pleased Joanne was able to demonstrate what a fantastic dancer she is. The showdance swung it for me.
One of the best series of Strictly.

Congrats Ore and Joanne 🎉

I liked Ore at the start but went off him 3 or 4 dances in. However I'm pleased for him. Sad Danny and Oti didn't win, though I'm aware it was mainly Oti I was rooting for so there's hope for another series if she's still in the show.

My favourite contestant was Ed, and his reappearance tonight gave me the most pleasure. But all in all a very watchable series and an unexpected but satisfactory end!

My thanks go to the people who have brought us spoilers - we were able to get them every night which is no mean feat!

And a rotten and stupid theory at that.

I can't believe how bitter some get when a TV programme doesn't give them the result they want. Makes me wonder how they cope with something important.

I am so LOVING the positivity on the thread. Seriously.

I'm drunk and emotional, but it's just great that Ore has been acknowledged as good ENOUGH on the night.

Danny was great. Louise was lovely.

It's been a WONDERFUL series and a FABULOUS final.

And for a die hard Ore fan the board has been very hard, so thank you.

Bugger, I appear to have delivered an Oscar acceptance speech.

Never mind.

It was a case of too little too late; especially after the mucked up Quickstep. Ore and Joanne had nailed three routines by that point.

You never know we might support the same couple next year! Though in all seriousness I really need to not give a damn for a change to recharge.

Anyone notice Ed Balls reverted to 'Dad dancing' at the end.

It was like he's forgotten everything he learned already.
