The people at her presentation who are in the food industry did not find them to be low quality. The Brownies are " "ridiculously rich" , which is a mark of quality and there is no reason to knock down Alana's business plan, until she has put it into action.

It isn't hard to find good quality Chocolate, I always buy bars of Chocolate in France when I am there because the quality is so much better and even the milk chocolate has a higher cocoa content. Belgian Chocolate also has a high cocoa content.
Since when has calling something 'ridiculously rich' been a mark of quality?

And since when have people been saying that her food is of poor or low quality when if fact they do not have a clue what it is like.

There appears to my eyes (37 years in Baking Industry) in looking at her website NOW, a distinct change from the "cooking chocolate" Alana was seen using in one of the shots.
Plus, she was definitely calling some of her products "Chocolatey" rather than simply "chocolate" in the product listings for her "launch" - this is what you have to call products made using vegetable fat based chocolate compounds instead of real 100% chocolate.

Alana's website now clearly says everything uses Real Belgian chocolate and the word "chocolatey" has vanished.

We cannot be 100% clear what she was using before the TV show, although using cooking chocolate in a setup shot for the TV show might not have been the best idea.
Clearly either Alana has made a decision to make this change - or she was unclear about the legal position, and that has been clarified, coupled with a decision to ensure only real chocolate is used.
The costing figures quoted in the interviews would also tie in with using chocolate compounds rather than real chocolate as the cost is much higher for real chocolate.

It is my belief that Alana has taken on board some good advice.
