Hi all, can anyone help?

My friends girlfriends phone keeps being blocked. What I mean is, she is unable to text or make calls, but can rx texts and incoming calls.

My son says her mothers b/f is using software to block the above, is there such a thing, I was under the impression that this sort of thing could only be done on the networks HLR.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Is there credit on the phone?

I understood blockers worked physically ie by not allowing service, in which case she wouldn't be able to receive either. Doubt it's being done by software.

what network is she on? has she rang customer services to see if there is any problems with the network.

also, is it a new phone or a 2nd hand phone?
