Every little clue helps.

To be fair I am more irritated by dumbf***s that flash you at night to thank you for letting them through past parked cars etc. Now that *does* scorch the eyeballs!

Avoid Benbenalen on motorways.

In situations like that I generally stop alongside the car that’s given way, wind my window down and ask for the drivers name and address so I can post a ‘Thank You’ card;

…there’s too little 'common courtesy' on the roads these days, IMHO.

Be honest... How many look beyond the bonnet and towards the next turn?

Buy the car you need and the house you can afford.

Be prepared to learn from any mistakes you make and don't automatically blame others around you.

I've never understood road rage.

Drivers ‘facing backwards’ is maybe not such a bad idea;…the designers of the hugely successful Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle were way ahead of their time, IMHO.

Quote:

How bizarre. I was thinking geezer mode at first. Chest nearly against the wheel while both hands at the top of the wheel.

Do 45mph next time you are on the motorway... shouldn't take to long to discover what it's all about.

Dream of being able to go that fast anytime I go past Heathrow.

Don't sit in the middle lane on motorways, blissfully unaware of anything going on around you.

Actually, book a lesson on motorway driving after you've passed your test. Insane, really, that people are let loose on to motorways with no experience of them.

toot pedestrians to hurry them up on zebra crossings, it's such fun

Don't fill the tank with petrol because you use more carrying the weight about, do half fills (or less) instead.

Never let your fuel tank fall below half else you risk pulling nasty sludge from the bottom of the tank into the engine.

Always check your mirrors after hitting a cyclist. If you see them getting up again, you may accelerate smoothly away from the scene.

Don't you mean 'Engage reverse gear, and try again'?

Never take it for granted when sitting at a junction and a car is signalling to turn left. On one ocassion I started to move out of the junction but the car despite indicationg to turn left drove straight on, a near miss but I have never ever done it again.
