There's something about the older generation always wearing a shirt, I don't think I've ever seen my Grandad in a t shirt. Personally I can't stand shirts, even the most casual shirt feels too formal. I much prefer a nice t shirt or a polo shirt.

It varies. I quite like the "Casual shirt + jeans" look personally.

Shirt tucked in or out? If out the straight hem shirt is best. I hate a halter hem not tucked in looks awful.

I'm 31 and I used to wear T-shirts. But now I wear casual shirts because I look a lot better in them.

I will always wear my t-shirts, in the summer they are ideal. I used to hate shirts but in recent times i have grown to like them. I don't know what's changed, maybe it's to do with getting older

Hardly any old men in the UK wear tshirts, but loads of old American men do!

Shirts for work and special social events such as weddings or funerals; otherwise t-shirts or lightweight v-neck jumpers.

I wear shirts regularly, always checked, usually half open with a tshirt underneath, i go for the country guy look 😊

it's probably what they are used to wearing for work etc, so they keep wearing it. if you are used to wearing a t shirt you would more likely wear one

also, look at the aging effects on old people. if they cover up with a shirt and trousers and dress smart then it's only about 10% of the rest of their body you can see, with the other 90% looking smart

on the other hand look at old men wearing t shirts and addidas jogging bottoms and looking like rab c Nesbit. the smart old man is likely to be treated better in the street and shops etc than the poorly dressed one
