Xmas Excess - Channel 5
Just watched this on catchup. I cannot believe that woman who bought 300 presents! 87 of them were for each of her kids! I don't think 95% of that stuff will ever be used.
As for the posh family, what a bunch of ungrateful little brats those kids are throwing their presents about the room not saying thank you!

I caught the end of this with the woman and very down trodden husband (who I don't think spoke at all) where they have to pile all the presents up the tree.
Are there really presents in the wrapping or is it just boxes so she has her 15 mins of fame. It would be interesting, yet boring, to see what was in them. |

Sure it's nice to go shopping for your kids, but to spend such an inordinate amount of time doing it? Maybe her kids might enjoy a holiday if she cut back on the Christmas spending. |

Well this isn't the first year she's done it apparently, and the kids seemed to corroborate the story about all the presents, so I think it's for real. I have no doubt she loves her kids but the whole social media thing screams "I want attention". Bad, good, or otherwise, she's looking for a reaction. I don't buy at all that she doesn't care what people think. At the end she was holding her camera and said to the daughter, "there's just one thing left to do", then takes a photo of the tree for Facebook etc. with the mountain and presents with a sideways smile/nod to the filming crew. The only thing missing was the rubbing of hands with glee at the expected shitstorm of criticism she knows will come. I don't really understand that mentality.

But has anyone seen what the presents are ? It ok for the children to say they are but say and are .. are 2 different things. Agree. She is an attention seeker and I find that quite sad. |

Out of curiosity, I looked her up on Facebook. I don't see many negative replies, so perhaps she's exaggerating or she deletes them. But this was interesting: Quote:
Emma Tapping So doing all that shopping and wrapping isn't really making her happy after all?
December 6 at 10:35am · Well it's just been confirmed that the programme I'm featuring in is on thurs 15th at 8pm on channel 5. I'm dreading it tbh because I kept it very quiet that the stress of everything landed me in hospital Christmas Eve so Christmas Day I was full of Valium and a bit of a mess! But looking forward to seeing my babies xxxx |
