http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016...for-caliphate/

The first had over a 1000 the second around 500. Crowds were again segregated men to the front and woman to the back. No doubt the young men had hangovers this morning.

It comes this week after a small neo nazi party was banned so my query is why is political Islam not facing a similar fate. Why is religion allowed to shield their disgusting views yet another similar group is rightly banned?

To give the security services time to make lots of films and follow them home to gain addresses.

They already had enough information on the neo nazis to ban them.

Alternatively the London marchs were.

hundreds of Muslims marked the festival of Ashura with a peaceful procession and signs denouncing terrorism and Islamic State.

Banners proclaiming “Muslims united against terrorism” and “no to terrorism, no to injustice, no to racism”

For Shia Muslims, the remembrance of Ashura commemorates the death of Muhammed’s grandson, Husayn ibn Ali, at the Battle of Karbala. Sunni Muslims mark the day as a commemoration of when Moses parted the Red Sea and saved the Israelites.

And 17th December Muslim Association of Britain march in London for Aleppo. Highlighting plight of civilians.

I have pondered recently over the west's involvement over Syria that if enough Islamist's marched on the capital wanting a caliphate and some of them died would it be fair dues if the middle east started arming them? or does it only work one way?

No, but we'd problem end up with a very expensive five year public inquiry to keep the 'social justice' lawyers rich.

Which country would be likely to export arms to them and how would the trade deal be set up?

I somehow suspect that mi5 and gchq already know about these people and have done for a very long time

It's really weird when that neo-nazi thing they banned the other day was estimated to have less than a 100 members. But they're okay with some of these other groups who are likewise equally explicit in their extremist views.

I'm not sure if banning opinions no matter how extreme they are is the answer, but at the very least they should be treating these groups equally with an even hand.

I entirely agree. With the advent of improved electronic devices the security services can collect information faster and share it faster.

Extremist views?
The two Muslim marches Breitbart describes as calling for a Caliphare were
1. Muslim festival of Ashura procession against ISIS and against terrorism.
2. Muslim march for Aleppo highlighting the plight of the civilians and anti the Assad regime in Syria.
Those are views shared by the UK government.

The extreme views are Breitbart's.

Pity the British government doesn't follow the example of the Angolan government, and ban Islam [from Britain] completely from the country, and then demolish ever mosque and madrassah. But then the British government and all the main stream party's are such cowards when it comes to Islam it is something they wouldn't even think about let alone do.

i believe the extreme views which i and alrightmate are talking about are the anti gay/jew/women/non believer which is prevalent even in the "moderate" muslim community.

Not everyone who supports a united Ireland is a member of the IRA.

If you can't see the difference between a Neo Nazi party and Hizb ut-Tahrir you don't belong on a politics forum.

That's weird, the photos in the Express show men and women marching together rather than 'segregated men to the front and woman to the back'.

No mention of the march being 'pro Caliphate' either.

I expect they manipulated the story and images as the Express is well known for its sympathy for Islamic extremists*.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/744...Street-protest

*either that or Breitbart need to find a fire extinguisher for their collective pants. Unthinkable I know.

If you look at the list of banned groups, 90% of them are Islamic. The rest are Irish plus this one far right group.

Which disgusting views are they?

Thank you for a thread based on totally false Breitbart shit stirring.

Once again the normal false propaganda and lies from scum media like Breitbart (who make the daft Express look like liberals) are out there now and as usual they're automatically believed by some people who Breitbart know also have no idea what the black flag in question means and will immediately assume it represents ISIS.

Looking at Breitbart link and Huffingtonpost they were two distinct marches and the flags were totally different and the messages on the signs were not remembrance signs nor were they anti Assad signs.

IT gets worse!

Not only are Muslims peacefully marching, they're also donating tons of food to the homeless for Christmas!

Disgraceful. Don't they know that they are supposed to pander to petty prejudices?

Yes but today's march was organised by the Syria Solidarity Campaign.

https://www.facebook.com/SyriaSolidarityCampaign/

'We support all efforts towards a political settlement for a democratic, just, pluralist and united Syria, where all Syrians can freely determine their future.'

The authorities linked the neo nazi group to the murder of Jo Cox. They took that personally and took action. The Islamists are only a threat to the general public so it doesn't count.
If the extremists are so keen on a caliphate, surely it would be possible to fly them out to Aleppo to fight Assad.
