12 year old boy tried to detonate bomb at Xmas Market

A 12 year old German-Iraqi boy tried to detonate a bomb at a Xmas market and planted another explosive device near the Town Hall in Ludwigshafen in Germany last month. The boy was strongly radicalised and apparently instructed by a member of ISIS / Islamic State. Nobody was hurt in either incident. The boy was born in Ludwigshafen in 2004 and is below the age of criminal responsibility so no formal charges were launched against him.

That's quite shocking, indoctrinating children. Hopefully he will get the intervention needed and the people who radicalised him will feel the full force of the legal system.

I don't know if anybody else does, but to me it's utter cowardice to use children in such a way - or any way, to be honest - to do their dirty work for them.

This is even worse - how low can these terrorists go?

The enemy within.

Things can only get worse in if they are shipped in en masse from war zones.

Makes sense though. I'm not saying it's morally right at all, but if you can get kids closer to your target then it makes sense to use them if you're desperate to achieve you cause.

They can't spare any more fighters - or can't find volunteers.

it's not unusual for soldiers to be fighting children .

Areally we sure he's 13?
Maybe about 28.
Same as some of those children the UK let in.

Of course, I can see the logic - if I were a terrorist I would probably do the same.

There were two 8 year old girls used as human bombs in Africa just last week.

Nothing is beneath them, and yet they think this will get them into some heaven of sorts.

How about sending a 7year old girl into a police station in Damascus to ask to use the toilet before being detonated from afar. It's sick.

imagine what that does to a soldier`s head, even more when he`s got kids at home and maybe the same age.

i`m amazed anyone can keep it together.

And they call themselves men, brave heroes for their religion. This is murder plain and simple.

Horrible. I wonder if it was the work of the "moderate" rebels the media and politicians are cheering on.
