Politicians get advice from some questionable people.

That’s just politics. We all remember the likes of Andy Coulson or Sir Philip Green.

But Theresa May, who was brought up in a vicarage, has cited someone slightly more left field her adviser.

God.

May told The Sunday Times in an interview last month that her faith will guide her decision-making concerning getting the country out of the EU:
James McWilliam wasn't happy with the idea of this unvetted adviser influencing Brexit, so he's sent a Freedom of Information (FOI) request questioning May’s comments about being guided by God.

Thats interesting. I can't remember ever reading about taxpayers wanting to pay over Ł50 million for EU rights in The Bible.
Must be the same Bible that expounds Christian values like that poor people work harder if you take away their money but rich people work harder if you give them more.

Funny how a broad education makes some people very one-eyed.

How very true.
Although my mother once prayed to St J when I lost my car keys in a muddy field in the dark and pouring rain, and then she walked to a spot, bent down, and picked them up.
I thought witchery rather than religion.

And the other one's leading what he sees as "Remain insurgents"... no doubt believing that as the EU Messiah he has God on his side.

Remember what happened last time a Prime minister said God told him to do something...

If someone says their faith will guide them, how is that the same as saying they are expecting a step-by-step guide direct from The Almighty?

It isn't the same.

Any God botherer is to be treated with suspicion and distrust as far as I am concerned, I care not what their politics are. They don't think like the rest of us. Irrational to the core.

Which God would that be? Mamon, the God of greed and selfishness, no doubt. I get very concerned about people who hear voices telling them what to do. It usually indicates something nasty is about to happen. In Mrs May's case the voices started a long time ago, I suspect!

In Remnants' cases, that's an advantage

Brexiters are hoping a quick word with St Anthony will sort a few million for the NHS.

Remainers must be relieved that their cause is being led by well known atheists like Timmy and Tony .........
