Can you imagine Gary Edwards in place of Len and Lorraine in place of Darcey?? Well, I can dream
I am really keeping my fingers crossed, I know he was in the UK recently and has gone back to Miami now, but he told me a while back that he would jump at the chance given the opportunity. He said that he is a good friend of Bruno so would have a word!!
As you know he judges top international comps, so is more than qualified to do the job - I think he would be a breath of fresh air to the show. lets hope

DWTS Ireland already has the fabulous Loraine Barry - its a great shame SCD did not snap her up. Lets hope that they have someone equally as qualified in mind. Loraine is/was one of my favourite dancers of all time
I totally agree with this. Loraine was a wonderful dancer.

I loved Len's goodbye. I notice they used the same song as used in John Wood and Anne (now Gleave)'s segue which I've always loved.

I loved it too Ann, it was very moving, I felt. I loved the music and the simplicity of the choreography, just lovely.

Will miss Len, it won't be quite the same! Not a fan of Karen Hardy, hope she doesn't replace him.

he has said he is doing 1 more year of dwts because he signed a 2 year contract with them which ends next year
And even if he hadn't and had just chosen to do the US version who can blame him. Lots of older people feel the cold. A warm climate eases all sorts of aches and pains from respiratory conditions to rheumatism. Give the choice of working the autumn into winter months in Borehamwood or Hollywood - which would you pick?

Good luck to him, I say. Know what I would pick, that's for sure !

he will be missed but the right time for him to go if he was finding both shows too much, I wonder if part of the reason was because he wasn't happy that Tess and Claudia get more pay than he does

Wonder what they'll have instead of Len's Lens, Karen's Camera?
Yes, alliteration! This should be a major consideration in the selection process!
Herr Llambi's Lament. Another reason to pick this very strict(ly) German judge.

No, it has to be more than just alliteration which disqualifies everybody other than Darcy with Bussell's Bustle! See, it's destiny!

I really loved the pro dance tribute.
It would have been good if they could have included a few professionals from previous series (with a couple of exceptions of course )

I loved the tribute dance to Len and he looked like he really enjoyed it too. Great finish for his last show. Goodbye Len.

I haven't read through the entire posts so forgive if discussed already.

I agree with some, Len has been an annoyance sometimes this series, but, enjoy your semi reitrement Len good luck to ya.

Couldn't they make Craig head judge? Or Darcy? I wouldn't mind if they put Karen Hardy in as lead as I liked her, but, there are quite a few pro dancers there who could fit the bill, even Anton!
